Absolutely amazing to witness, now the two main partys are almost unelectable ! Fantastic stuff !…….now, if we can just get an alternative party that seems like it will throw the public a bone we are in business !
-
Yep, I bought that postcard last Tuesday ?
-
Personally, no, never.
-
Obviously we have no experience of Coyote, but I know a gutless dog when I see one. Those dogs in that video are by no means small mate and one in its own should be smashing in and putting that critter away never mind 3, it’s a basic lack of heart…..curs mate I'm sure you would agree. Theres tougher than fox here too and again, same rules ? Dint know anything about wolves because there is no comparable scenario for us, but I’d guess they are a rifle job or it’s just wanting to see animals fight ?
-
Well if that’s the standard I understand your feelings about letting dogs kill game ? As an example this old boy below would have a fox (slightly smaller by a couple of kilos) in 2 pieces in a minute or less single handed. Over here most lads wouldn’t tolerate dogs like that for toothed game, contrary to popular belief we ain’t into cruelty ?
-
Nice to watch some dogs running toothed game but I have to tell you mate, those dogs would be in the ground in the UK ! Not looking for an argument just telling you in conversation. I caught 3 lads on a bit of permission I used to have one night and it was almost the exact same scenario, 3 dogs, none of them with an ounce of guts, nipping in, not wanting to get bitten and basically just torturing the poor f***ing fox……I told them to f**k off and shoot their useless mutts. Do you know if that’s the standard of dogs for this job over there or what’s the story ?
-
Dogs kill out of the beam all the time mate, or am I not understanding you properly ?
-
What do you mean what happens ?
-
Has anyone here ever “kicked up” any deer ?…….I’d be genuinely interested to hear that
-
I believe there is an ME organisation mate and they will have all the information you need.
-
I’ve seen a mixture of saluki/grey/deerhound/bull that would do that nearly every day of the week for 6 months of the year, the owner kept pushing and the dog always delivered……a heavily saturated coursing type would have been dead in a month !
-
It’s getting to a point where it’s all immaterial really, be hard to do real justice to anything decent now days I reckon mate…..the odd run maybe ?…….but not real, relentless collar. I don’t know, I’m not over there and seeing how things are.
-
Personally I think coursing type stuff is way too fragile but that’s just my opinion and ultimately, what the f**k do I know ? Had one once, f***ing thing was always knocking or breaking something…….try driving 500 miles and the f***ing dog knocks itself up first run out the car, been there, done that ! Best thing that ever went near that dogs jaws was a bullet !
-
Very true mate.
-
Some lads would break that dog in a single night. Anyway, it’s all completely meaningless, not many people are going to be operating an almost specialist coursing tool going forward in reality. Lovely looking pups, well reared by someone with knowledge no doubt but as for the “hard pressed to find a better cross…..”, nah mate, not really.
-
I’m a bit gutted you think so little of me…..that’s cut me to the quick mate ! Lol
-
Cheers matey, I know how to use the rods I have so they should be fine, I’ll just scale the mainline down a bit from 15lb to 10lb, it’s big open water anyway. Are you referring to the lakes around Strokestown ?……heard some decent reports, I think an 8lb team has came out this summer ? May be mistaken ?
-
I have fed off a few shoals of bream over the years lads, they go through bait like you don’t believe……Sandhurst lake at Yateley has a good head. Dropped on there for a couple of nights when I couldn’t get on The Match or Copse and they went through 40lb of bait like it was nothing ! Paulus, I’ll give you a tip mate, for situations when you want to use a lot of bait or use boiled bait properly for greedy fish like carp, tench and bream you can buy the over runs from the bait companies. All shapes and sizes and “flavours”, they work a treat with an amino type dip like the ol
-
Bait boat !!……how very dare you ! Lol
-
Need to find out about that because I believe bass are protected here mate !!
-
I found the float fishing for other species to be excellent on mainly carp waters, I used to have some fantastic Rudd, Roach, Crucians and Tench because they just were not fished for but getting fed plenty every week. My personal hatred is these built for purpose “carp match” lakes, what a f***ing perversion of a principal !
-
Been thinking about doing some of that. My biggest bream was 12lb when I was still in the uk but I have not fished much since being here, the odd river session and that’s all. I sort of lost my enthusiasm as they don’t have carp here, however they do have the lakes…..one near me is 36,000 acres !!……..that’s a bit of me and I have been toying with the idea of trying for some bigger bream and Tench. Not so sure about the 3.5lb Century’s being the right tool for the job mind you ?…….I suppose if I scaled down the line BS it wouldn’t be so bad because the rods are still nice rods de

Just leave the bloke alone now boys, he ain’t here, it’s better for it imho but at the same token it ain’t right to be discussing the bloke either. We all know the crack, let’s move on….jmho
