Just for some more context, the United States Marine Corp is 181,000 full time active service persons and 32,000 reserves……that’s 213,000 people……that’s JUST the Marine Corps ! Just looked that old boy up and read some of his writings, he is without doubt a well qualified and clever dude. He holds senior positions in university’s and on the whole is a well respected academic on the subject of military history and military thinking. But when you read his essays there is a whiff of lefty about him that he never quiet says out loud…..I’m not saying my mind is anything like as clever as that bloke and his experience on the ground in conflicts is without question but I couldn’t help but think he is detached from ordinary peoples daily reality, reading one essay

I have to be honest and say I don’t believe a word of that. Suggesting that if Trump wins it emboldens Putin ?……peace was breaking out all over the show under Trump. Here’s a thought that just occurred to me, Putin and Russia is such a clear and present danger to Europe that the UK government is totally fine with closing a steel works in Port Talbot and relying on foreign imports instead ? Something don’t quiet add up there.

If enough people vote for someone else they get in, period. More importantly, if nobody votes for Labour or Tory they don’t get in….and that’s the really important thing. Nobody needs us mate, certainly not at the moment…..our politicians have systematically gutted our country. I watched something the other day about an engineering project in China called the Nort-South water diversion project, mate, it’s breathtaking !! The scale is unimaginable, they basically built a new tributary to the Yangtze River 720 miles long to get water to Bejing……it’s awesome, and we can’t fix pot holes mate ! Interesting conversation mate, and it’s just different points of view, but I don’t buy the “Putin is the bogeyman” narrative at all…..that’s just my opinion of course. Has anyone stopped to ask themselves how a bankrupt Europe and United States is funding this proxy war on Russia ?……I reckon old Putin is smarter than we think, he knows who eventually picks up the bill and he is happy to keep absorbing ! Russia absorbs, it always has and enemies break on those rocks. Plus, I think Putin is actually in with a good shout of being the good guy from western citizens point of view.

Just watched the 2nd half mate, bossed us off the pitch ! Theres plenty I could give an opinion about but seeing as Moyes is now the best manager in the world and I don’t know what the f**k I’m on about I won’t bother. Im not worried about loosing a cup game to a team who actually went to work properly, it’s the manner in which we went about it that I’ll never have time for….it’s Moyes football to a tee.

Got in late so only watched the first half so far mate, fair play, City proper put our right hand side of Mavrapanos, Coufal and Cornet in a game so far and they folded like wet shit. Loosing all the 2nd balls and young Conway is looking sharp. I have seen the final score and based on the first half, you deserved it. Going to watch the second half today.
