Urban places would go to shit in about 2 minutes flat as was proved at the start of Covid. Every f****r is reliant on Supermarkets. I can imagine 3 million absolute c**ts panicking that their parking “app” isn’t working and they may get a fixed penalty from the council while facing Armageddon! Lol

My old Sunday league was one of the biggest in the country at one time I believe, from memory it was 10 divisions of between 10 to 15 teams…..they had to split the divisions so that new entry teams could progress in a decent amount of time. Now it’s a bit of a shadow of that with only 4 divisions and around 35-40 teams. In fairness Essex into east London is a massive football area with generally a very, very high standard at most levels….there are hundreds and hundreds of teams across the county and into East London from Sunday to non league. Its still big, very big as one look

30 year ago my pal used to lecture all the lads about about how we should be stashing weapons in out the way places ready for when the race war breaks out ! Lol …….after a couple of hours we’d be like “f**k sake John, leave off, your doing everyone’s nut in” lol

I think Hojlund could be a good striker mate given time and the right instruction.
-
See Rashford is attempting his best Pogba impression lately mate. Forgot to add, Anthony against Newport County has to be one of the great football cringe moments ! Lol

As has been said, I think there is a massive difference between just thinking a couple of steps ahead and being a full blown nutcase. So, for instance if I was driving upto Scotland or through certain places in Wales in the winter months either by myself or with the family I’d always stash a box of army ration packs and some ordinary & foil blankets in the back of the motor, weather changes quick in them places and who the f**k wants to get caught in a blizzard with their pants down if you have the family on board. Takes nothing to do it and you forget it’s there, but it’s there

The teams you were playing were all having a decent go as well, as you say, it’s not terrible at that level is it. And very entertaining for what ?, a tenner or something to get in ?…..can’t go wrong mate.

As you can see I’m struggling badly with all this “success” stuff, I feel all out of sorts and don’t know my arse from my elbow….can we just stick to well supported small club please, otherwise I’ll have a meltdown !
-
Just watched the edited highlights of a couple of your teams games mate, I like them ! Thats entertaining stuff, nice and aggressive front foot football you are playing there, and the quality is decent…..fantastic mate. That centre forward of yours is a bit of a monster isn’t he ! Bloody hell, he must be 7ft tall.

Trees can be used in livestock systems, for arable you can over sow without ever having to plough (which releases tons of carbon that a healthy soil will naturally trap). Ploughing also degrades soil which is why you have to throw tons of chemicals on it to keep it doing what a healthy soil could do on its own. Mixed species planting with legumes and clovers will just take tons of natural nitrogen out of the atmosphere and fix it and hold it in soil, when soil is “alive” it will also trap and hold tons of carbon as will trees. It will also hold about 10 times as much ground wate

You can also catch it on YouTube, I’ve been watching a few lately on there on my telly. Pure nostalgia as I never missed it when I was a kid

How’s things going with that little team you are involved in mate ? PM the name of you want to and I can keep an eye out for them from time to time.
-
True!…..they have been talking about culling the national herd. Make you despair when they talk about nitrogen pollution when farmers are actively encouraged to spread tons and tons of chemical nitrogen on single species grass based systems !!……that’s how you know it’s all bollocks ! If they were serious about the environment they would be encouraging farmers to pursue a regenerative mixed species system, plant trees and make sure they can get the right money for their their product instead of artificially keeping food prices low so they can nick peoples money in other areas instead

I have had that a couple of times in my life and I have to say, it’s one of the few thing I just can’t let slide. I absolutely have to let them have the “what’s wrong with you you miserable c**t ?” Basic manners is one of my big triggers in life.

Pink cords……not the right amount of fingers……looks like he fights Orcs with an axe……it can only be one man !
-
Actually, if they were serious about a “green” agenda they would be encouraging farmers to cover the place in trees imho, livestock on a purely grass based system is a fairly recent invention…..they used to graze grass and trees which is I believe where the practice of pollarding comes from. The green agenda shows a complete lack of understanding of eco systems and soil management and it’s roll in managing carbon…..I’m guessing there’s clever people doing all this so you can only assume it’s for another reason which makes the whole green thing bollocks !

I’d be Rafer Janders, he’d be Rafa Banitez !

Beautiful man…….

And they can start in the places where indigenous populations are rising.
-
That’s shite mate, hope you lad isn’t too shook up and is back up and about soon.
-
Enjoyed football this weekend, some real sparky games and no VAR to f**k it all up other than a couple of premier teams….which were frankly shite compared to the lower league stuff. I even grudgingly enjoyed Liverpool and watching those couple of youngsters play, great stuff. Watched some absolute shite locally, but still enjoy just being pitch side. Tidy
