Their are cairns in Northern Ireland 5000 years old, similar in Southern Ireland except they are 2 distinctive type and they surmise that is because it was two distinctive tribes from the north of the larger British isle and the more southerly. The only good remake I have seen is “Point Break”, every other one is is a bit “just why ?” They try and recreate iconic stuff and it just can’t be done, one of my all time favourite films “Alfie”…..how can that be done again or any better ?, but they tried and it’s shite like all these remakes. I see they are remaking “Sexy Beast” as some sort of series ?…..nonsense like, things are iconic for a reason and that reason is that they were done perfect, never to be bettered, first time around. How can you remake “Roadhouse”, in my opinion a thing of its time” without Patrick Swazhe

On recommendation I started watching “Gomorrah”……brilliant ! Series 1 you have to watch but series 2 just takes off. 2 more series to go, fantastic.

I can’t have that one mate, “only 28” …….you play the best football of your whole life at 27,28,29….that’s it, that’s the sweet spot. For a footballer if you ain’t doing it then you’ll never do it, it’s the age where your game and body and mind is at its peak football wise. The rest I ain’t arguing because it’s a sensible opinion, but 28 for a footballer is the best it will ever be.

I went for years on 4 hours a night, but funny enough if I wasn’t working next day I slept like a baby. Sunday to Thursday, 4 hours…..Friday & Saturday not a bother, out like a light. My brain just wouldn’t switch off, making sure I hadn’t forgotten or missed some detail or the other. Ive always loathed lateness as well so I always wanted to be places early and when I went to bed all I could think about was getting up. Absolutely right ! It was one of the weird things to get our head round here when we moved, everyone rocks up to funerals dressed in anything !……from tracksuits to jeans to work trousers and a hi-viz !!!…….. I will absolutely never get used to that, ever ! My wife went to one dressed as you would in black and said she felt a bit awkward, some folks said to her “only the family ware black” but bollocks to that, I couldn’t be part of all shuffling after a coffin in line like you’re a load of scruffs waiting for the dole office to open !

Yeah, fair shout boys. My guess (and it is only a guess) is that first of all, they can afford to take punts on players. Having taken this punt on a lad who no doubt has ability, he isn’t quiet what they thought he was either mentally ?, Physically?, attitude ? They have put him out to see if he can come good. If he does, brilliant…..if he don’t, then they can afford to swallow a few million quid and move on. If he was upto it, they wouldn’t shift him out ? What do you reckon ?
