  7. I wasnt aware Bruce Forsythe Sean Connery or Paul Mccartney played sport..........................im not defending gameshow hosts or washed up singers...........im defending top level sportsmen ! With you on that one mate, to see these top level sports men and women compete and what it takes and means to them to win or loose is IMHO everything that is good about humanity......anyone who fails to empathise when they win or loose, if you don't feel it then you have either never played sport or if you have have you never took it seriously enough. These folk ain't running out on a Sunda

" I will pull up on the playing field by your house and leave 20 ton of rubbish for the council to clean up if you don't let me build on this green belt"
  13. " don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining...."
  14. If I really had to pick one it would be very close between Julian Dicks and Paolo Di Canio.......that said, how can you pick just one when we have been lucky enough to see some true greats in English football. Cantona for presence on the pitch Berkamp for sheer technical brilliance Scholes for being the consummate professional Jimmy Flloyd Hasslebank for that sweet powerful strike Shearer the out and out forward Roy Kean the midfield warrior/general The Wimbledon team from the 90s for showing that a little talent and a bucket load of aggressive winners attitude can

  19. My own theory is that if you have one dog, it will come on better on its own while young rather than in the company of other dogs......IMHO Best of luck matey
  20. My tuppence worth would be, just enjoy traing the dog and mooching about then when it is gone a year see how it goes on the lamp if you fancy a bit of that. Bare in mind it won't be an expert from the get go so be patient matey. Enjoy
  21. I saw some lads a few seasons ago slip 3 dogs onto a big dog fox, the critter took stood up to them and none of the dogs wanted to get in and have a go bar the occasional nip........now if foxes are what these lads are choosing to run then them dogs deserved a bullet. If a dog pulls up, then it needs investigating further before you make a sound decision........thats all I am saying.
  22. I understand all that matey, here is a question: would you make up your mind on a dog based on one under par performance?.....
  23. I take a slightly different opinion on that mate, if the dog has a little bit of history doing that then I would agree with you but you cant tell from one run if that dog was in top condition or injured itself in the run or was carrying an old injury.....not excuses, but you need to think about it as you could do away with a perfectly good dog for the wrong reasons.
