Arsenal are in the shite????.....pardon?.....after one game? Just watched it on MOTD and as usual they played beautiful football and should have had 3 ........when that teams forwards hit a run of form or they get a world class striker at the top of his game then they will be unstoppable. And it will all have been done while still keeping the club on a sound financial footing.......as has been said, when the new rules come in with regards to club finances then they will be the kings......and all the Arsenal fan can thank AW for that

I also think that the BASC and CA should provide funding to enable shoots and hunts to bring more private prosecutions.....start costing those fuckers a few quid instead of letting them off scot free all the time. -

It's a criminal offence to obstruct a legal activity on private land, they should have been nicked plain and simple. You should mak an official complaint to the chief constable of the local force and ask for a written explanation why his officers allowed a criminal offence to take place without arresting the perpetrators ? -
While I agree with CPs post and find it funny I won't run my dogs on rape stubble......mostly I don't give a monkeys but rape is a no no for me. It don't soften up in the evening dew like wheat does......what is the point?.....it's ploughed under soon enough anyway.

You say your not a football man mate, but you have made some very good observations IMHO .......it's good business for all concerned the way I see it. Wenger is no idiot, he has sold a 29 year old who has one great season out of 8 under his belt and is prone to injury. He gave arsenal great service last season and now get a crack with one of the top teams in the world......everyone wins. I agree the facilities should be there but I certainly don't agree with all the " government should do something" mentality.....there is plenty of stuff for kids to do if the parents look hard enough......just because a bloke like football or rugby don't mean his boy or girl have to do it too, they may want to swim, or dance or trampoline or judo or gymnastics or boxing etc etc etc There loads of parents out there whose kids do something nearly every day of the week, it takes time and sometimes money but it's well worth the effort.......it's all out there, just a tap on the pc screen away.
