    Had a very relaxing day last Sunday at the Sporting Whippet show, and really enjoyed the commarardrie that goes with it. The sun shone in all day, and there was a good turn out of whippets.Congratulations to all the winners. Also enjoyed the Dog Matching show last Tuesday evening in Laurelvale Hall. Some lovely dogs arrived at this show, all of different pedigrees . This type of show was all new to me, and took me a while to follow the procedure, but I have to say I really enjoyed it.     Another great Terrier, Lurcher, and Whippet Club Dog show will also be taking place this Sunday 3rd June, we are spoilt for choice this weekend. The Mid Antrim Terrier, Lurcher and Whippet Club Northern Ireland , are pleased to announce, that the Terrier, Lurcher and Whippet 21st show will be taking place at Florence Court Country Fair ,Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh this Sunday 3rd June 2012.     I do appreciate your views hunt and fish, but to be truthfully honest, anytime I went to Florencecourt, I thoroughly enjoyed it, but that is from a womans point of view. And the reason why I always start a thread on my own is, I do not want to be associated with any criticism of any show no matter where it is. I feel If the organisers put the effort in to organise a show for everybodys enjoyment, then I should appreciate what they have done for me and everyone else at the show. Look how many young children and families enjoy these shows. My policy is, if I cannot write something good about the

    The 2012 National Countrysports Fair was held at Moira Demense yesterday Saturday 26th and today Sunday 27th May. And what a 2 day family occassion this was. Moira Game Fair was the venue where the Gilford Lurcher and Terrier club held their 13TH Annual Dog Show, and this year as every other year was a roaring success. I was in the field from 9.30am, and by 11.30am there was very little parking place left.Cars and trailers arrived with dogs and family on board, and in a small space of time the field was buzzing with the laughter of children playing in the beautiful sunshine, parent partic
