    Ian, it would be nice if you could have Whippet Pairs, Vetern Whippet, and Overall Champion Whippet at this years show . Whippet people make up quite a sizeable part of the show goers. Also are you having a child handling class.     All roads lead to Ballywalter Game Fair this coming Saturday and Sunday 5th & 6th May 12. Ballywalter Estate will be host to the first of the Great Game Fairs of Ireland this year.     Dunsilly Kennels yesterday Sunday, was alive with the sound of showing and racing Whippets, parents and children, Terrier and Lurcher men who came as spectators to show their support , as the first Sporting Whippet Club NI Show of the year got under way. The weather held out all day with no rain, but a bitterly cold wind kept everyone happed up with a few layers of clothing. Janet and her committee, as usual did a superb job, with the showing and racing conducted with impeccable organisation.     The day commenced at beautiful Ballywalter House, Co Down, the venue for the launch of the “ Ballywalter Game & Country Living Fair “ 2012, to be held on 5th and 6th May at Ballywalter Park.     The Orchard County was buzzing with laughter and excitement yesterday, as the first dog show of the year took place at Annaghmore Raceway. This show was organised for Charity and run by Fiona Devlin right in the heart of apple country. With the beauty of the countryside, good company, and the sun shinning what more could we ask for on a great family day out. This was one of the largest Dog shows I have see in a very long time, and went without a hiccup. As a cancer suffer myself in the past, I fully understand the importance of raising funds for this special charity, as they managed to get me over some very dark days in my life.     O Pigsy how I love you. Can you not read. Can you not see I congratulated Martin Tucker,along with the other to winners Robert Maloney, and Pat Lee. Martin Tuckers dog "Winnie " was Top Dog and ran a brilliant race. We even stopped with Martin on the way out of the field and congratulated him. Martin Tucker is a real gentleman and breeds top dogs.We race our Whippets occassionally, and to be quite honest, a cat could beat them, but it gives us great enjoyment at our age , and we thank God for every day of our life that we are in good health and still able to do so.
