I decided to buy a couple of these and first time out with them I nearly threw them into next field. I was wasting too much time trying to set them and when I did manage to set them they had gone of when I checked them. I threw them back into bucket and they went abit rusty and now there a lot easier to set and I've had afew results with them

do you have any pics of that dig. I'd had afew Guinnesses when you rang me. Me and other lad were half pissed digging that night but soon sobered up with cold. Ha. Another good dig to Eddie that was.

I was gutted for you pal. We tried our best but it was too late. He died doing what he loved. Old lad went out on a high and we got our quarry but the result was a good kick in bollocks also. Think of the good times with him and enjoy your terrier work.

I once had a terrier enter under a tin sheet that was covered with house bricks in a small wood. When I managed to move afew bricks to get sheet to move it dropped into a small cellar. I climbed in to find terrier working away in a old fire place. When I looked up to hole I'd climbed in there were just the old timbers all rotten holding all the bricks and mud on top. f**k knows how many tons were on top. Luckily I could reach back end of dog and pull it out and climbed back out. If that had caved in on me I'd be still there now buried with dog and quarry. Lol. It has all caved since then.

I sat mine with killgerm and they really help you through it. Mine was over two weeks with the exam on the last day. I would recommend going on there one day training courses in basic rodent and insect control and safe use of pesticides if you're fairly new to it all as they help you understand it all not just the biology side but all the legislation as well. There were afew on the course I sat that didn't have a clue and afew failed. I had been working a while at it but still went on the one day courses before I was ready for the level two. Atb with it

one of my pals had abit of bad luck with some young dogs he had and was left in a position where he didnt have his own dog to go out with, he couldnt wait for one of us lot to gift him another to run on so he jumped in feet first and bought a young jagd dog (£500), it showed early signs of turning into a earth dog with some easy do's, my pal was impressed with it so went out and bought a young bitch (£600), again this bitch showed early signs of making a dog, we then turned it up a gear for them and after acouple of digs, well i say digs ! what digs we had to them we broke through to a differ
