  1. Hello all, so been to vet today and told that it's some kind of tumour, Lisa nearly fell over, but apparantly, they are kind of common in young dogs, anyways the crooks of it is that Lex, is bookd in to have it removed on Wed, vet also said that, we'll have to pay lab costs, to see if there is any sign of the big "C" so I know for a fact that there will be a sleepness night for me Tuesday, anyone got experience of this in a 5 month old dog, she's been spoilt even more than usual tonight, touch wood for me please !
  2. Ive been knocking on doors for what seams like an eternity, I did get some joy, however 4 yes 4 attempts later and Ive still not seen 1 set of eyes, I have however run into 2 other groups of fella's out with the dog and lamp...say na more, to say I am gutted is an understatement, I ever got the missus a bottle of Hock to celebrate getting it...ner mind, keep looking !
  3. Hi, Thanks very much for your advice, er, no bad smell, appeared this Week but has doubled in size in a Week, Lexy's booked in at the vets tomorrow morning......should I be worried ? only 4 Months after loosing Lora, I dont think we could cope with loosing a 6 month old pup.
  4. Sorry about your dog mate it must be a terrible time for you and your family, here goes tin hat time, sorry I dont think this is the reason at all, it's purely down to individual dogs, for eg, me and my bro, same mar and par, he was a fu$%£", black hair, always in trouble, very intravert and not out going at all, well me Ive never been in trouble, well few times but only for having a rook when under the influence, im fair haired and can chat to my shadow, Im hoping that you get my point, it's nothing todo with Hancocks dogs persay, it comes down to the individual dog's personality if you like

  6. Hi lads and lass's, before you come down on me let me just say that I am calling the vets tomorrow, I have noticed a lump on the front of her front leg, it's a little bloody, fairly hard to the touch and doesnt bother her, Ive checked for any foreign objects, infection etc and nothing, Ive send my 3 children to bed telling them not to worry, but I must admitt, deep down I am concerned, any advice would be greatly appreciated, please dont lambast me, im a decent fella who loves his dog, thanks in advance Craig, Nottingham.

  20. Hi all, I thought I'd post and let you all know how things are progressing with my 18 Wk Hancock bred 3/4 GH x 1/4 BC, Lexy, weve been having loads of fun, in honesty Ive walked her for longer than the stated 20 mins, she's a big strong pup and if I let her she'd run all day. Lexy and I have been playing lots of fun games, fetch retrieving, drop retrieving, find retrieving and I must admitt she has passed all expectations for such a young dog, I think the key is to make it FUN for both parties, we ve progressed from a bright pink dumbell (easier to spot) onto a rabbit fur dummy (took a day
