  2. Must admitt Rew, you along with Nottzhunter really impress me, it's great to know that the future of this fantastic sport and tradition is in good hands, I hope that one day I'll have half the knowledge and craft that you have long may you post your superb threads on here, I for one love reading em ATB mate Craig.
  3. Come on fella's double standards or what, I admitt Im not an experienced lurcher man, but I dont need to be to tell you that my recently aquired pup GH (Flicker) x Beardie Collie (john Dog) came out the kennels, fit, healthy and happy, I can take you to several posts where the pups are either full of worms, under weight or keeping kept in far worse conditions to what I saw, Hancock was totally transparent with me, he took us round the entire site, if you ve had personal experience with one of his dogs then sure you have the right to either give a positive or negative response, but lets keep i
  4. Hello mate, where do I get a skin stapler from ? not only good for just in case dog hurts it's self, can use it ta staple the wife's gob shut when she's moaning about the decorating again !!!
  5. Hi mate, Mally off here has a fantastic bitch by all accounts, think it goes by the name of vixen, this fella mentioned to me that he'd put a good dog over her (only if it's 100% bang on), Ive said to pencil me in for one already Mally is a spot on fella, and after only a short time Ive known him I'd trust him 100%, he's got a very good reputation, do a search on here for him, he's got a terrific website, also a FANTASTIC photographer, Craig
  6. Flippin eck fella's how do I mek one ?
  7. RFL, with you mate, this is one of those situations where the dog needs to be put in it's place....dont need a hiding or owt, but let it know where it is in the pecking order, Ive asserted a pecking order with my pup, by going on all 4's and making her submiss to me, she rolls over onto her back and shows her stomach, job done.
  8. I feel for you mate, Ive got a 10Wk old pup and the thought of having to give her up breaks me in two, good luck in getting her a good home pal Craig
  9. Camo, Im 100% with you, Ive got a 10 Wk old pup and she doesnt take kindly to me or anyone else going near her when she's eating her Barf, she's fine with biscuit but meats a different matter in-fact ironic but I gave her a chicken wing this morning and she ran inside with it, so not wanting fresh meat all over the carpet, I tried to get it off her, and she swallowed it whole, no chewing, nothing........slightly concerned this morning as Ive had to leave her as ive got work, good luck with it, keep us informed how you progress Craig
  10. Lurcher lass, your saying things which other users are thinking, I for one love to read your threads, you speak from the heart and in total honesty, I would love this pup, but my lil bitch is to young, atb with her, she deserves it
  11. Flippin eck Hannah, what camera did you use ? fantastic shots, lovely dogs

  14. Brilliant Skycat, my bitch is 9 Wks and she's loving her BARF diet, chicken wings, carcuss's been to the butchers and told him what I wanted and he said pop round tomorrow, got a lovely big bag, asked him what I owed him "na lad dubnna worry aboot it" so I gave him a fiver and said that'll be ok for the next few times....job done, well done Skycat another one converted ! Craig
  15. Hi Mikey, I had this and went to the vets...all she did is what I would have done but charged me a fortune todo, as long as there isnt a long tear in the paw, just nick it off she'll be fine pal, Craig
  16. Adam, Ive found that this site has plenty of know it all's I'll tell them all now, I have a nine Week old puppy and Ive got her chasing and retrieving a furry toy, Ive also started her training to a dog whistle, what the feck is wrong with you people, you jealous or something, cos he's a young lad and got all this to learn and your up your own arse's thinking you know it all ! makes my blood boil, I dont proclaim to know everything but I know what Im doing with my lil one is perfectly safe and most importantly SHE LOVES IT!!! Adam, dont jeopordise her at all, you have plenty of time to train
  17. Your not daft mate and Im not gonna sit on here saying dont do this do that, you know the score with regards dogs and babies, with what your saying it seams to me like they (dogs) are marking their territory and are showing exitable behaviour, it's a worrying time but im sure if you use your brain and dont rush things you'll they'll be just fine, ATB Craig
  18. Hi Trace, Im speaking from experience here, my lurcher who us pictured on my addy is the most mardy dog ive ever seen, the slightest knock would make her whine, but put her in a field on the back of her quarry and she'd run through walls, very strange but any vets we visited said "oh another mardy lurcher" spose ut depends on her make up...hopefully someone else will be able to put your mind at rest, atb Craig
  19. dont spose we could do a deal Ive got a nearly new FN19.....my gun and ££££ ?'s Understand if no can do... Craig
  20. love it pal, close call between collie x and beddy x for me
  21. What's it got in it mate...beddy x ?
  22. Thanks W&I, she's on 30% protein at the mo, could this be the reason du think ?? was recommended it, specialised puppy food, cost me an arm and a leg in comparison with the likes of the adult GH mix, figured didnt matter what it cost her first bag as I wanted to give her a good start, she's also on BARF has fresh chicken once a day and then dried 2 times daily, she's really put some timber on, so well chuffed, but was slightly concerned with her sloppy pooh
  23. Thanks for the advice Wild, she's been fine on it so far, just a bit concerned that her pooh's not stiffening up, still very sloppy ?
