  1. This topic has been done to death. Everyone knows .22rim fire is better laugh;
  2. Yes we always meet at the opposite end near Guys Head on the 1st.
  3. :laugh: Look forward to seeing you again pal
  4. You need to get a letter of permission from the land owner you have permission to shoot on, this will then be submitted with your application.
  5. You won't need to put down what type of ammo you intend to use as Paulus already said Only thing they are to make a decision to grant you is which calibre. This will depend on the land you have permission to shoot on and what it is passed for. For example if the land you have permission to shoot over is only passed for .22 rim fire they will not grant you a .223 or .243 for that piece of land unless you get it passed by the fire arms dept. It's all to do with having "good reason" ATB
  6. It's down to owners mate they haven't got a clue most of them. They boil my piss, most of em couldn't keep a guinea pig never mind a dog
  7. Good mate of mine (Charlie Caller) has been reloading for years To me it always seemed like a dark art but he's been going on about I should start reloading for my 6.5 x55. Anyway I took the plunge and bought a Lee reloading kit and got C Caller round to show me how to go on, first of all there are a few steps BUT it's not that complicated and is infact quite therapeutic once you know what your doing Well I loaded several bullets with 46 gr H414 with a 100gr hp bullet. And using my 6.5 x55 Tikka T3 with a S&B 8 x 56 scope at a 100 yards zeroing range fired a shot 1" high and 2"
  8. Owing to your own admission of being a newbie I would suggest its just in experience with mounting the gun. When I first started my shoulder was black and blue but it was simply because I wasn't shouldering the gun properly. Now I don't even notice it, A semi auto will lessen the recoil but at 5' 9" I would expect a 12 bore of any type to be no problems ATB
  9. Jim may well do and I'm sure he loves them but beastiality is not the topic of discussion Edit to ask on a serious note you eat meat? If you do your argument is ignorant and irrelevant.

  14. Lolapat grow a pair and do the right thing FFS
  15. So are you saying the 10/22 isn't accurate after 50'yards?? 10 yards further than an air rifle????? That's just bollox Maybe I need to explain this to the dozens of head shot 90 yrds + rabbits I've shot over the years. At the end of the day buy whatever rim fire you choose but let's have it right eh FFS???
  16. Good advice tpe in speed test into google and follow the instructions it's simple and you'll probably find your internet speed is too slow which is causing the you tube clips to buffer.
  17. What you on about .lol. ? is it safe?? Marathon Man
  18. Found this as I say don't believe all the rumours from people some of whom have never even fired one
  19. Chickenhawk by Robert Mason his own story as life as a helicopter pilot in the Vietnam war incredible read. Dear Boy Keith Moon biography you think today's rock stars are crazy this guy invented it and did it far better than any of them.
  20. Don't be put off by these comments over 5 million 10/22's have been sold its one of the most produced rifles out there so they must be doing something right. The CZ is an excellent rifle (i own one) but I own also a 10/22. You get the occasional stoppage (maybe one in 100) but this is due to the old case not ejecting quick enough simply due to lack of cleaning, there is an awful lot of wax on .22 rimmy bullets and I find you get build up on any rifle if not maintained properly. Don't believe me? Type in fully automatic 10/22 in you tube and watch those yanks rattle off two 25 clips in full
