  4. was out a few years ago lamping for rabbits with my lurcher in co. sligo and heard a shot right near me and the sound of shotgun pellets hitting the hedge right next to me...sent the hairs on me neck standing! i ran like feck and got back to the van safely! as i had no perimssion on the land i did not challange the farmer, but, reported it to the guards (irish police), they came back out with me and found out who's land it was, the bollix that shot at me had his gun taken off him and got a caution from the guard, he should of been done for attempted fecking murder the c**t!! over here in Irel
  5. should be ok over here pal have poached most of my life and never had any troble of the law had a shotgun pointed at me a few times out the window of the jeep and get the f**k off my land but thats about it realy,hard men with there guns,

  10. great write up pal get them a lurcher pup they will be keen then to see there own young dog catching bolters, cant beat the feeling of seeing a young dog come on,makes ferreting all the better

  12. my pal used to have a cocker terrier years ago,was probly the best bushing dog i have ever seen this dog wouldnt miss a beat,had to have a collar on her all the time as she was a cracking dog at finding charlie to ground and would stay every time till dug,was an ugly thing to look at but what a dog she was.

  14. I wouldn't question the outcome of the fight itself, but it looks like something shady's going on there don't it? Yes certainly does Maldwyn. come on i watched that fight 3 times and i gave it to khan every time by a round with the 2 points deducted,lamont put up a good fight but never won it.now this fella at ring side definately fiddeled with the score cards,a rematch should be made,and scrap the loss off khans record.
  15. he has thrown more to the terrier prefer them that way thou great dog on a line exellent bark and drive on him,he is about 13tts id say.

  17. like willow said.saluki arent hard 2 train make a bond with them and dont be heavy handed with them and you will have a pearl off a dog,seen one saluki/grey xcollie/grey run and was very impressed good bitch.

  19. i love being out in the field watching other peoples dogs run seeing all the diffrent styles the diffrent crosses have,dont get me wrong i love 2 see my own dog do her thing,but its nice to see another persons dog go once it can do its job,i often phoned one or two lads 2 see do they want 2 go lamping an they would say me dogs injured il leave it off were i would be just happy to get out in the fieled and see some decent runs.
