  1. You'not wrong! I get carried away sometimes. Ric
  2. I'd say you have a good case for theft of intellectual property rights. The copyright of a photograph rests with the photographer, and unauthorised publication is both a civil and a criminal offence. Not worth getting too heavy about it, but a letter demanding withdrawal would do no harm. Ric
  3. Yeah! You tell your FEO you want to hold 6000, buy 5000 cos you need to buy from the same batch to ensure consistency. OK says he. Then you say "every week". Whoops. Ric
  4. F**king hell! I want one! Does it work with subs or do you have to load with supersonics? What a bunny basher! If it works with subs you could take out the entire rabbit population of East Sussex in one night. Opportunistic fox gets smeared across the landscape! Holy 'kin sh*t. I'm in love! I don't think the UKBR22 guys would be very impressed though . . . .
  5. Back to the point, don't forget to tell your missus if the arsepack come round DON'T LET THEM IN! RicW
  6. Apparently there are 35 prisoners on whole life tariffs. Sutcliffe makes 36. I have said before that I do not support the death penalty but there are "people" who should be locked away from society for ever. Ric
  7. Peter Sutcliffe, the Yorkshire Ripper, has been told he will never be released. He'll leave Broadmoor in a box. Ric
  8. Just to add, he was jailed for beating up his own daughter. Then he got out of nick and tried to kill her mother. And people are trying to make him out as a victim? I agree with the OP that the use of those high power Tazers needs to be investigated but let's not start feeling sorry for Moat. I just don't want one of those high voltage killing machines pointed at me if I lose me rag one night! Ric
  9. Bah. Humbug. Now my Anglebox with the 1650 crosshead lump, Jeff Howe head, twin 40DCOEs, Cosworth A6 cam, Jeff Howe 4-into-one manifold, 2" lowering blocks, export springs, anti tramp bars, McPherson struts, Cortina discs, DS5 pads,VG95 shoes on the back, 7" Ton Tyres steels, 205 Cints all round . . . That was a bloody quick car. 145 bhp at the back axle in a car that weighed well under a ton.Wrapped it round a tree in the end. A good death for a good car. Ric
  10. Well, yes. The version I put up on here about a year back had a pheasant shot at point blank range and the dog was machine-gunned but hey who worries?!
  11. RicW

    raoul moat

Who cares, he's dead. Cops surrounded him and he blew his head off.
  12. Stay with Marge. She'll be good at storking . . . I'll get me coat. Ric
  13. Please explain that comment ? It's the attitude shown by that local rag that I find scarey. Responsible sensible adults introducing their children to the safe use of guns under carefully monitored conditions are being slagged off by a bunch of knee-jerk antis with the full support of dead-beat journo's who can't get a job on a proper paper. SCAREY OR WHAT? Or do you agree with the press? Ric
  14. Have a look in General Talk "10 year old gets shotgun licence". 'Kin scarey. Ric
  15. Bah. Humbug. My Duke would waste any of those 4 wheeled biscuit tins. 4 wheels bad 2 wheels good! Ric
  16. Yes but. Remember my earlier sig? "I know I'm paranoid but AM I PARANOID ENOUGH?" Ric Why are you reading my post?
  17. If you have both on your ticket and you have got the WMR already then save up some pennies for a half tidy 2nd hand CZ .22lr. Best of both worlds! Ric
  18. That will be where it gets interesting. The team are there to protect Brad from sneak sprints. They hold up the peloton and let Brad cut loose. Sounds dodgy but it's standard tactics. It really is going to be worth following the race. Err, I could have phrased that better . . . you know what I mean! Ric
  19. I don't see it as "hoping nothing bad happens" and I agree that we need to be pro-active not just reactive. I just think that we should play it cool for a while. I saw on the box today that Northumbria police have 40 firearms officers on the case and have - get this people - 20 armoured vehicles borrowed from Ulster. Yer Wha'? This nutter has 2 double barrel shotguns and the fuzz are making like WW3 just started. How many stalkers are there on here who could track him down and pick him off with a .243? Ah well. Ric
  20. If it has to be one or t'other .22lr full stop end of. Where it gets interesting is when you want to move up. Then the choice between .17HMR and .22Mag can get difficult. .17HMR for feather, .22Mag for fur? Whatever, with all respect to Gav22, the .22lr is just so versatile. Remember as well that .22lr with subs and a mod is as quiet as a sub-12 air rifle. .22Mag is supersonic and you'll always get that sonic boom. It may not bother your quarry but it can p**s your neighbours off big time! Ric
  21. Parish council kept me in .177 pellets for months. They'd pay 2/-, that's two shillings, 10 pence to you sprogs, for each tail. They'd chuck 'em in the bin and me and our kid would go round at night, hoick 'em out and go back the next day and sell 'em again. Ponged a bit after a week . . . Ric
  22. Do you know what? I get just the same problem on speed. And MDMA. And ketamine. And 'shrooms. And listening to Oirish folk music. Strange innit? Ric
