  1. http://www.independent.co.uk/environment/nature/reliable-big-cat-sightings-revealed-1229204.html
  2. I had an arguement with a guy lastnight about the possiblity of big cats in the UK, has anyone ever had any encounters, i searched the internet, and it does appear that many have been sighted, although im still not a believer of there existance. if there were supposed big cats, id imagine people out with there dogs or out hunting would have more encounters than anyone else. so in everyones opinion are they myth,s or are they reality
  3. hare for me is faster, although the intial burst from 0- to top speed id say the rabbit. for some reason i find hares get going and only really start flying when they realise they are in real danger, thats when the ears go down and really start motoring
  4. had to look twice there lol, the pups markings are identical to mine, mines has just hit 21tts so got a while to go , must be good for you john seeing your pups all looking well
  5. in my eyes, no matter the colour of your skin , or what your religon is , if your a pedo you deserve to be hung drawn an quartered. Pedos of any sort, do not deserve to live Im an ex seviceman who served in many muslim countres, and the cold hard truth of things is "they hate westerners". If you are in there country, and ask for a church/chapel to be built for your religious beleifs, you will be told where to go big time, BUT!!!! they just expect to get mosques and all sorts allowed for them over here. Im not racist , far from it, but there has to be lines drawn somewhere. On this

  9. i suppose it could happen to any dog really, but again, you must have really noticed a huge difference in its temprement. personally im not a fan of bull x, for many reasons,
  10. sorry to here that fella ,positive thoughts are best at times like this . how his he bred fella looks similiar to types ive had ,in the past . atb bunnys. he is whippet/grey we update, the dog up moving about but still limping, i ended up taking him to vet just to be sure of no bone damage, lucky none was done, vet reckons he was very lucky an its poss, his front shoulder took majority of the impact. so complete rest , as i thought though , season is over. hope everyone had a better season than me. ATB ah well bring on the fishing season!!!!
  11. BRILLIANT!!!!! lol did you get a free tin of tartan paint with the dog too. sorry bud but thats a cracker , think you have been had, big time. think it was mentioned earlier , but now its up to your mate to make the dog, im a great beleiver in thinking its not just the breeding. its the owner to. the dog needs to be worked , just like an athlete would train. with work and patience, any dog will do well
  12. cheers guys, just letting him ly up in spare room, will keepan eye on him over next few days, hopefully wont be to long to recovery. if he shows signs of deteriorating , itll be straight to vets trigger, yes its the dog in pic , thats my charlie boy
  13. how about some lurchers chasing antis, with the caption , "let us have some fun"
  14. chuffed for you bud, just watch they dont keep an eye on you, now they know wat your upto, cause if anything they sh@ts dont like being made a fool of, even though there bloody useless at doing there real jobs
  15. was out early this morn, enjoying walking with the dogs, had a few decent chases, then on one disaster. the dog kicked up a long ear and must have turned half a dozen times before long ears went under a fence into a wood. the dog cleared the fence with both front legs but one of its back legs clipped the top wire which caused him to spin in the air and come down hard against a tree. all i could hear is really loud squealing, and feared the worst. when i ran over, he was lying on his side squealing badly, and after what felt like ages got up , with heavy limping, thankfully he is not severly in
  16. as you said its just rabbits, im a great beleiver in sticking to what you know, take a whippet. if you get a lurcher you might end up comparing the lurcher and the whippet, which aint fair on either dog. Trust me on this , i know it sounds daft , but i always had lurchers and thought like you. what if i get a whippet? i wasnt fair on the dog as i always compared her to what i knew of lurchers. A mistake i will never make again
  17. again dogs pay the price for some nugget not being to careful, its a shame, they look like good dogs to.
  18. whippet/grey x lakey/whippet
  19. i know its not airdale but my father at present has a lakey/whippet, an trust me , she is devastating on rabbits. when we take her out with my dogs, she tends to flush most things, but over a short burst of 60mtr her acceleration from 0-full speed is awesome. I should state she also has the heart of a lion and shys away from nothing, which can also be a downside.
  20. lucky having fields like that nearby you, aint nothing like that where im from. Cracking looking dogs though, the mixed coloured dog is almost identical to my old dog, and she was a cracker. ATB
