Fair play. Most single parents would of had the kids and just thought about themselves... you put your kids first and that's sometimes a rare thing when families split. Have a special weekend away or out doing something special in the new year

I've just let the log burner go out it's so warm. Can imagine some local hunts must be struggling.....not been able to take horses on some country for months as it's just bog. Lancashire is always wet but this is getting silly We are shooting Friday and the landowner is coming along with 3 lads off neighbouring farms.....was hoping to impress them but it's going to be hard work.

Mates dad is 76 and still working on site. Will get on a roof if they turn there backs for a minute. I used to work in a unit on a farm and the old farmer was still mooching around in his 90's. I saw him up a ladder once putting new battens on a shed felt roof

Bad do that Daniel. She's lucky to have a son in law who there for her.....many oldies don't have anyone. Don't sit waiting with em that long.....tell the ambulance she's not breathing properly and her lips are going blue....they move old people and falls right down the list otherwise Glad you made the most of it in the end

Found a new outlet for our ducks. Not a bit wasted! Two days ago these were 3 mallard on the shoot, Christmas eve they were boiled duck and insects with a spicy duck tongue soup to start! Genuinely..... anyone producing game needs to go down the local China town. Good money and really appreciated

Tell you what....I'm amazed we ever managed Christmas without Africans . Every single channel has an ethnic belting out carols
