    I agree some positives.....but very few. I'll never live in a house where I can set the temp before I get home. I'd rather come home cold and chop logs in the snow. It's the real world.

    Oh I get that.....I went into the travel agents and of course they used the internet. My point is I also went abroad in the 90's and it still worked. We have lost more than we have gained. Even trying to book on Tele text holidays gave a sense of adventure that has been lost with our new world where everything is a click away

    I disagree totally, why are those things blessings? Send pics of your kids?....if it's that important post them, I guarantee a letter with some photos in would mean more than sharing pics instantly. Connect with people?..... I genuinely feel the old school connections were better, I remember writing to hunt secretaries ask permission to visit. Who do you connect with? Old school friends on Facebook? It's bollocks.source stuff?? Yeah and loose little fishing shops and stores etc. Time saver? Slow down.....we always managed before.

    Could possibly sell one and use the money to do the other up. We have 2 massive pens and 7 sheds all needing doing up this next season as well. Time and money. Both run out sharpish

    No, cartwheels are a bit bigger and heavier, and where all made in 1779. I think it's the same monarch so my coins would be similar date

    Bunch of coins found wrapped in a hanky. You could still make out the red check in the hanky . Late 1700's early 1800's I think

    Engagement ring? I spent £500. It was 2nd hand at the jewellers....insured for replacement at £1700. She lost it at the swimming pool and got another one she liked more. So her and the jeweller were both happy. Wedding ring....not sure how much it cost, just a simple band. I wear it on my middle finger as it won't fit the correct finger after I broke it. Wife says I wear it on my gay finger, not sure if that's correct. If she dumps you make sure you get it back. I'm still bitter my ex kept the one I got her. The slag.

    Madness how the government think they are doing good getting the extra tax revenue....they haven't got the brains to realise that all our cash jobs went straight back into the economy
