Think he's being sarcastic. Really not every trap....if you catch it in one trap and you have 2 other traps set in the area of that one mole.... obviously it's then not possible to catch it in the others. What I meant was if I set a trap in a group of mole hills or workings and it's in a good run I'd expect to catch it.....or it may bung the trap now and again. If your lad set 7 traps and there was only one mole then he can only catch one mole obviously. If I have an empty untouched trap then it's because there's not been one there. Fck I've made this sound more complicated than it

He needs someone to give him a quick lesson. In 48 hours or less I'd expect every trap to have either caught or at least be sprung and blocked.

Don't worry about scent at all. I always set traps from new. I wear gloves but only to keep my hands clean

This local butcher now has 3 high street shops in areas that lost, and were without butchers for years. They sell out regularly. I mentioned on here years ago that I'd always wanted to be a butcher and had a dream of one day opening a shop. This is what I had in mind, really well marketed meat, packaged for the hipster wanker

Traditional butchers are doing really well near us now, always new ones opening. They have adapted to what people want. Lots of nice looking ready to cook products. Also advertising on social media.

I was joking. I totally agree. Always amazes me when we hear people struggle to afford food.....our local markets are full of different types of fish, cheap cuts of meat and fruit and veg. Because it's not what people are used to eating they won't touch it. It's also getting worse. Just 20 years ago people wanted pheasant and duck....now they aren't interested. I struggle to give rainbow trout away these days

We are a small island nation surrounded by sea. I'm sure carp is ok, but cod is better. I'm sure whicherty grubs are edible but we don't need to eat them either....we have cows and lambs. Leave the trash to the polish and abo's

The national museum is better. Perfect for discussing bullet placement on African game prior to booking a safari with my lad. Edited to say the sheep is obviously not African game.....it's dolly the sheep

Edinburgh castle is ok. Full of foreigners. Shops selling over priced short bread and tweed.
