That's the main issue really.... If I had another I think I'll have a lab pup. I don't really have any work for these even ratting. Our house is to small to have a lab in as well so I'll try and put her off for now

I don't think the state of Hunting is linked to the lack of popularity in hunting forums. It's the same with magazines.... when was the last time you bought a fishing magazine? Once these things were a link to something bigger than our own little bubble, now we just have information overload and it all gets a bit boring. If hunting was going full bore would this forum be going well? Sharing photos of dog work? Well that old couple or that lone woman needs to start voting for people who would do something about it. They need to stop using the paki shop, taxis, Turkish barbers, car washes etc and telling their family and friends to stop as well.

I can understand some of the election results.... locally we only had 3 choices, and the labour councillors have, in fairness, done a good job. They are visible, speak up for the local issues and are well thought of. But how has Sadiq khan and Andy Burnham been re elected? I understand we have numbers of lefties, I understand London is full of migrants and ethnics.....but how the fck have ordinary people not turned out to say no, enough is enough. It's things like that that convince me we are beyond help

I was invited to do a talk on pest control for the young farmers and I really enjoyed it....they all got involved asked good questions, I was there hours. Our local hunt has done a barn up as a meeting room full of hunting pictures and they regularly host young farmers visits. I think one group of YF's now use it as a regular meeting venue. Still very farming orientated the local groups I think.

We no longer have a reform candidate standing for the general election. I'm considering standing but it's a big hassle and I know I haven't got time.

I don't think anyone voting for the Tory's are doing it because they support em....they are doing it because they feel there is no option. We had labour, Tory and greens as our only choices on the paper. I just drew a cock on it and wrote close the borders.

If I see someone with an actual filtering mask on then I give em the benefit of the doubt....then may have one lung or be undergoing cancer treatment....but when you see some cnut with those blue medical paper mask things on, old and dirty and they are touching it regularly...or they are walking down the road with it on....or a homemade mask made out of material. Those people need culling

I remember at the relaxation of the lockdown, we went to Scotland fishing. Went in a bar for a pint and the barman had a piece of dirty paper mask over his mouth, but not his nose. He sees us and touches the contaminated piece of dirty paper mask that must of been damp inside and out how he was wearing it. We asks for a pint and he says no, not until you have a mask on.
