I love to watch them courting & i have only seen them do that heart shaped thing a few times but couldnt get the pics right .. so i know what you mean The duck might be a hybrid .. i am seeing a lot of hybrid mallards up here ... some have really nice markings like marble Lovely pics keep trying to get the heart shaped swans :laugh:

I use shredded paper it costs nowt & i can change it every few days if i think its needed

Idealy the jills have to be just right .. .. if you try to introduce them to soon and there not ready she will protest about being grabbed .. struggle & very possibly end up with a scabby sore neck from the pestering... if she is ready she will allow him to mount her with minimum fuss.. all she should have is a damp neck .. no sores on it where the hobs had to chase her round grabbing at her i cant say any mating i have witnessed has taken more than an hour tops .. once he has done the deed remove the jill

if he is a little bit erratic due to him being in season then just up his food untill he gains a little... just simply feed him enough to maintain a decent bodyweight ... that he has probably burnt off due to being in season

Not had a very productive week photograph wise with this bloody shingles managed to get out on saurday & sunday for a few hours though i also wondered what it would be like to photograph fire so i had a go & some of the photos came out ok

Your not kidding .. he is away untill tomorrow evening & he has taken the camera with him .. only gone to help fit a conservatory it`ll be for the before and after shots kay - he`ll be able to talk you though the job I had a blow by blow account of the 2 days he was away .. pics no

The girl is right dear....it has to be Colchester zoo... If i have to swap trains then its a no go .. i am just not programmed to get off one train onto another .. i will get lost .. thats why i picked Euston as its one train sorry i thought you was going home after....that means two trains.... not that hard after all is it Your so funny nice to see you haven't lost your sarcastic touch i have rather missed it :laugh:

Good job , which technique you use to black out the BG? Which program do you use for processing Photoshop ? I used paintshop pro & flood fill .. i just had to decrease how much it blackened out .. a bit trial & error
