Since 2014 Ukraine were already 'on side', they were already making moves towards union with the EU and NATO membership. There's nothing really to be gained by the West through instigating false Russian aggression. This military escalation is entirely Putin! The defence industry don't even need it, they've got the rise of China justifying their next sales, which is going to be a huge pay day. I haven't said the West or the US are any better. In fact I'd say the last 20 years of disasters have led to Putin feeling emboldened enough to do shit like this. At least the West use uniformed troo

"about to happen".... a month in invasion terms is pretty imminent. But it's really neither here nor there because it's one MP and I don't agree with him. My point is you seem to think Putin can do no wrong and it's all the evil Biden/EU spreading lies. What Russia are doing is in no way routine or benign. They're making a play, having already relieved their neighbour of land and in the process of actively relieving them of more. My bet is that full scale invasion of Ukraine is what they want everyone to believe so when they make their actual smaller move the world will think the res

So if an invasion happens this weekend, they were wrong were they? LOL I disagree with that Tory MP, I don't think an invasion is guaranteed at all, probably not even the most likely outcome. But you're living on another planet if you don't think Putin is playing chess here with many options on the table and this 'training' exercise isn't a strategic move towards those options. He's already annexed Crimea, is in the process of annexing Donesk and just so happens to have amassed unprecedented forces on the eastern border, in their northern ally Belarus and on the south in the Black Sea.

I expect a bank full of digital currency is of great comfort to a post invasion insurgency faced with divisions of enemy armour in their country. The thousands of anti tank weapons, MANPADs, and secure comms delivered by US/UK won't be of much use I expect....

40.... a month! f**k. Mine's 70 for the year! I'd be taking all my garden waste to the tip if I had to pay that.
-
When you say an additional 40, what does that make the total? Because here it's 70... And yeah, plastic wheelie bins are f***ing unsightly.

Though socialist is in their name, they weren't strictly socialists, in fact if I'm not mistaken Hitler explicitly hated 'socialists'. Nazism embraced the sort of socialist beliefs of everyone chipping in for the good of all (the state), but they killed people considered weak, lol. Socialists help the weak, sometimes to their detriment. The sort of socialism the Nazi's embraced was absolutely typical of nationalism, which most wouldn't consider socialists. This really just highlights how erroneous a one dimensional (left/right) theory of politics is. This is possibly more helpfu

Now that's got me interested. Not QRA jets then. Not typical to do this with production jets I dont think, so must have been testing a specific new upgrade.

QRA Typhoons scrambled apparently. Poseidon launched too. Dunno if it’s connected.

Interesting read, Carol J. Adams - Wikipedia EN.WIKIPEDIA.ORG Basically she ate a hamburger for tea on the day her pony died, had a breakdown, and figured that men use meat to oppress women and every other demographic of victims... I don't know if any of her 'theories' have actual empirical data to support them, but I suspect they don't. Social sciences are in an absolute shit state these days.

I was washing kennels yesterday and manged to shut my pup out on the driveway. Thank Christ I don't live round you lot.... it'd have had a new name, bowl and collar by time I finished disinfecting!

Sell it all! It’s worth a fortune!

Wrong thread mate! Nah, yeah fair. Even if Ireland wanted out, you’d never pal up with us for historic reasons. Any trade union would be seen as British oppression 2.0 unfortunately.
-
Ireland leave the eu and chuck in with us. No border needed. We could call it the United-something…

Been smashing these out for the shooting season. Basically an open top pork pie with chunky game, bacon and pork belly filling and then topped with cheese and pickle. Go down a treat with everyone.

This thread will go catastrophically down hill when a certain deviant matadwarf finds it.

I can’t say I’ve got a great deal of experience with fisting tbh, lol. But I think there’s pleasure in ‘forbidden fruit’ so to speak. I think women who are particularly free, nympho types, want to do stuff beyond what is conventional. So much of the pleasure in sex is context and psychology imo, only part of it is physical. Ie one blowjob might be physically the same as another blowjob buy the pleasure derived can be vastly different. And that’s down to how context/environment affects the mind/mood. So acts that don't seem physically stimulating might be deeply psychologically stimulating.

I think what it says about us is that either society does an awful lot to repress natural sexual behaviour. That can be good and bad. Or that society/technology has perverted our sexual behaviour. Either would explain why when you remove social judgement, people get freaky. Its difficult to have these discussions without someone getting premenstrual. But anyway… I recall a very interesting hypothesis from an anthropological psychologist where he posited that there were three fundamental natural behaviours of human reproduction. Long term pair bonding where the male contributes signif

I think leveraging power within an organisation/network to end someone’s career because you don’t like them is wrong and dangerous. It’s something we need to resist to protect freedom. Especially in comedy, where fringe and grassroots ideas are often first exposed in public. Joe Rogan is going through similar for absolutely f**k all reason other than he questions the narrative. He’s way too big to cancel but he is bowing to the pressure disappointingly. That said, the powers behind this stuff are huge.

Agreed. Theses states might be weak but they do have a choice. And they weren’t weakened by the eu as a tactic for forcing membership. It’s not the same as facing an invasion force. Officially Ukraine is preparing to apply for membership. That means they are working to achieve the standards the eu require for membership. The eu might well be determined to get Ukraine on board but so far they haven’t done anything special. I’ve got to be honest, the eu wanting to unify with Russia is news to me. I think it’s news to Russia too? I think this is very much about Ukraine being a pupp

A union. Mate it’s how they all work. It’s the number one reason I wanted us to leave. The eu hasn’t economically weakened Ukraine to force them to join. In fact I’m pretty sure the eu wouldn’t accept them yet anyway? Russia however has surrounded Ukraine on three sides with an invasion force.
