I think constitutionally it's which ever coalition comes forward with the greatest majority but traditionally the party with the largest share gets first shot at forming a coalition. That's ringing bells anyway.

Most small breeds will be about full grown by 9 month yeah. My lad is 13kg last I weighed him. Slim build but hard muscled. Seen some cockers that were right lumps and equally some that were terrier sized. My lad has turned out very nice. He was given to me by a mate having come into his kennels because the original owner reckoned the pup needed shooting at nine month. Lol, f***ing idiot!

Unless the two tone runaway vehicle had run over him killing him ....... You might not know the answer to this socks but I'll ask anyway. Do the police not ever shoot from the vehicle? I've looked into what happens in the American training courses out of interest and they run a lot of drills shooting from vehicles. Slick as f**k either alone or in pairs. I get that on foot you have better mobility but surely sometimes speed outweighs the need to get on your feet?

More open than now?? Mexico has a more honest system than any country in Europe and they fuuckers are more bent than my brother The freer the system the less it's open to corruption from the authority yes. But just because a system is not corrupt doesn't mean it's working, it can just be a plain bad system.

I understand your reasoning Mushroom. It's a conclusion most people have come to at some point when you realise the virtue and success of democracy is limited to how educated and vigilant the electorate is. My major opposition to earning your vote through a test is that someone has to mark it and write it and that is open to a lot of subjectivity and also corruption. Personally I'd like to see forums take place in community centres all over the country monthly where free expression and speech is absolutely sacrosanct. To earn your vote you would have to attend a number of these forums.

Yep it's interesting to me that we only seem to have these two systems both of which have a small range (only 8000m) and are designed to defeat fast low flying targets but we don't appear to have a Patriot/S400 type missile which should be able to reach out several hundred KM, BAE are more than capable of making something like that so the powers that be obviously think we don't need it right now. The finest counter terror forces in the world make f**k ups. What makes them the finest is their ability to succeed when the shit hits the fan. Plenty of comical SAS accounts of unexpected shit going wrong. When the most heavily funded operators in the world the US Navy's 'SEAL team 6' killed Bin Laden their elite Air Force pilots crashed one of the helicopters because they hadn't accounted for the air currents caused by the compound walls! Why that car didn't remain stopped is anyone's guess, maybe the handbrake malfunctioned. On the whole they got the job done....

I doubt rapier or starstreak can take out a mortar or small rocket, they're not really designed for that. In a flat desert area with little ground clutter that Phalanx is ideal and a great way to test the system. It's amazing how accurate it is as well, I was always doubtful of the effectiveness of some of these wonder weapons after the first Gulf war when they found most Patriots missed their targets. Modern SAMs are highly effective but it gets me wondering why we still use such an old system like rapier, is that all we have protecting our country? I know they're planning to replace it w

The only land based systems I thought the british military used was rapier and starstreak. Anyway, I love reading about all those naval systems and weapons. Still the ultimate in power projection!

I read they were supported by an Apache too. I took it with a pinch of salt initially, 30mm cannons and hellfires probably being a tad excessive for centre of London like. Anyway, it was aparantly just for its recon systems, to relay information etc. Make a point mind you if they did let rip. LOL
