  1. Are YOU under a force that has these rules or not? If not then your anecdote, which was intended to counter what I said, was not relevant. That's the point. It doesn't really matter if its law or not unless someone is willing to go to court. So again, are YOU under one of the forces that explicitly refuses to re-issue without doc report? Nott's won't and I ain't taking them to court for you lot.
  2. Dunno how many other forces, if any, have followed these since this was published.
  3. I have no idea and it doesn't matter because the licensing dept has explicitly refused to re-issue if you do not comply. They were one of the first to make this policy. They used to have the policy of assuming nothing is wrong if they hear nothing, like most other forces still do, but not any more. You don't comply then you will be off to court to set a precedence. Which force are you with so I can try and find their policy?
  4. You know that for a fact? That they still re-issue? Nott's were the first force to make this policy change and as far as I'm aware only one or two others have followed suit. Who's jurisdiction are you under?
  5. I wouldn't have a license then mate. Nott's WILL NOT issue if they hear nothing. Most other forces still issue if they haven't heard anything after asking.
  6. Here in Nott's the licensing dept contact my docs asking for a report, then I get a letter from docs invoicing me before they will give the report. It's the Licensing dept policy to not issue any ticket until they have that report. About 40 quid a go iirc. Got ya by the balls as there is no standard fee.
  7. Found this interesting. Amongst all the doom a gloom "GB isn't great" talk we are so apt to, it's nice to be reminded that our flag holds deep meaning still. They're fighting for their rights and freedoms and the Union flag is a symbol of that. https://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-hongkong-extradition-wong/flag-waving-grandma-wong-gives-hong-kong-protesters-lesson-in-endurance-idUKKCN1TY127
  8. I don't think the fall killed him. He'd have been brown bread from exposure at 37k ft. Soon as they dropped the landing gear doors he dropped out as if from an ice dispenser!
  9. I don't know mate but it's easy enough these days to research. Iran certainly does have a right to exist, but given that Iran seem to be Israel's mortal enemy, lol, the Israelis have not taken well to Iran getting a foothold at their backdoor. They do not f**k about when they think the 'enemy is at the gates' and they are operating with absolutely cutting edge kit. They probably know more about the new F-35's combat capabilities than the yanks who built it. Well put, I agree it's 'f****d up'.
  10. Israel aren't happy about Iran being there.
  11. Mental right!? Cyprus was always a bit of an interesting subject given it's proximity to Syria and also the fact part of it (Akrotiri) is a UK military base where the RAF fly combat missions from. IIRC Syrian jets did a mock attack on the base a while back, testing UK defences. Given how unlikely it is for a missile from Syria to hit Cyprus, it makes you wonder how many do go unaccounted for! I read somewhere that those soviet era S-200 air defences are a bit shite and the Syrians are resorting to just firing off as many as they can in desperation. The Israelis are probably com
  12. I do not think they are all outright banned though. For instance for shotguns only if they hold more than 6 carts. None of those guns are outright banned, only if they fall under various new restrictions. The Silver Pigeon thing smacks of desk jockey ignorance.
  13. https://news.sky.com/story/russian-missile-hits-northern-cyprus-near-village-says-official-11752330 Maybe go skeg on holiday this year.
  14. Not all those are outright banned though right? It's only if they meet a certain restriction, like being a semi auto centre fire. I managed to get my licence over there after it all came in. Trust me, even now they have a far better situation than the UK. PS, look at how many have voluntarily handed illegal weapons in.
  15. I might have to get a bit more info off you in the future mate. I was up the dales yesterday for the day. It's only couple hours drive and if it's a straightforward as you say I'd certainly be interested in a few day trips.
  16. Several still ain't common. Have a day off. I was praising the fella for his sense of morality when most would have not given a toss because Mr farmer wants something dead and at worst I have known a few to really not give a f**k how a fox meets it's end. If you haven't then I can't help you.
  17. Where did I say it was common? Lads, ffs you don't work for the BASC press team.
  18. f**k me dead, I'd destroy those! Did you catch them in Nott's mate? Not the Greet by any chance?
  19. Commendable for having a conscience though, mate. I hate hearing folks talk about foxes like scum.
  20. It's not sport rifling foxes. Just flatten them at whatever time causes the least suffering. Understandable holding off on the vixen if you hadn't time to do the job properly.
  21. Well, I must taste like the finest filet mignon because I can't go near a roe buck without at least a dozen of the c**ts dining on me.
  22. They're a wonderful breed. The black and tan with white streaked bib on the far right is catching my eye. Probably just that picture. Which one is your dog pup?
  23. I've never looked into it mate. If I'm honest I'm not so bothered about Lyme disease as I am just about having a blood sucking parasite on me. I've found them in disturbing places! I fear gaitors for me wouldn't do much as it's not the grass where I pick them up, it's the woodland and heavier cover. Maybe I should give them a spin. Re dogs, like you I don't booster dogs but I believe the science on that supports less frequent boosting at most, once every three years iirc. The science behind puppy jabs is beyond debate, it's conclusive and should be done. As you do.
