    i was up the tip dropping of some garden trash the other day and saw two curtian rails in the scrap bin with nice two inch bronze rings on them so got thinking and a bin dive later! look what i come out with enught rings to make 8 nets for free

    In your case it could be many things that caused the rabbits not to be in the net. Did you tail the nets? When rabbits hit the net at full speed they stretch the netting taught and unless their heads go through a mesh are unlikley to get caught at the first go, they usually bounce and then try again, or run along the net and if the net is not tailed they will escape. When a rabbit is walked slowly into a net they usually try and push their way through a net, to do that they have to be standing on the net and that is when they get their claws tangled (especially with a double stranded net)

    do you think they catch better when hopped into the net TC? rather than bolting? i was out last night and had 7 in 2 drops from a 50m net but i say 2 run at the net at full tilt when i got down to where they should have been they were not in? i think maybe they "cartwheel"over it or something like that if you get my drift!

    i dont much matter what the shot size is its the gram that produces the recoil and from experience (ime sure i will be put right if ime wrong) but most AAA loads are about 36Gram. so wont have much kick over normal loads. i have used sg for roe but again their is better loads i would honestly leave SG loads to the gun nuts who shoot wheelbarrows with them

    a trowel reinforced to withstand some abuse...and a small square spade with the blade cut down to be as wide as a barrel trap for the deep holes

    yup a good dose of some thing large..ive shot more foxes when out after other things than i have then looking for foxes. but ive always used the same as i use for geese......46gram alphamax 3s not much shakes a dose of them off!
