  1. HOW YOU SAW IT. you wernt even on this site when this happened, your just listning to the crap marks telling you LOOK here fella you wernt there i was , there were 20 rabbits cought, dont belive evrything the brick tells ya. now go back to mark and ask him how many he cought in his first round on his land back in the autum, they cought 12 or 13 in 3 hours with both dogs,
  2. can i ask why people feed both ,meat and dry??? shurly theres no need for dry to be down all day, just feed carcass at night take it out in the morning, no need for extra all day
  3. looking good there ginny spiner, not long now till there earning the corn:thumbs:
  4. yep we walked up a road for 10 mins yes im shure 20 , i was there yes ldr did say they would get 60 runs, he did say that though in the summer, had the final been run in the autum they may well have got that, woodga who's land it was gets scores like that up there on good night even getting over the ton. with hindsite ldr should not have said they would get 60 runs, because there's nowt worse, than trying to garrante numbers on a nights lamping. now rymac why not pm me who you are , you seem to kmow a lot about the comp even though you have only been on here since june.
  5. shows what you know, the year befor 20 rabbits were cought, in 1 hour 45 mins if mark had stayed the final 1 hour 15 mins then we would have been beetween 30 and 40 rabbits
  6. Why on earth should the final be run again ??? It was run on Tomo's land and all parties left happy, with no complaints, even though there was a lack of rabbits. Cheers. Because the winner caught 4 rabbits thats a joke how can yea find out best lamping dog on land with no rabbits??? Why was it run there if there was no rabbits why was there not land found with plent rabbits on it till run the final??? your right iceman it was a poor show for the final, it was on my land and i was very embarrased about the numbers we cought, nothing to do with the dogs, just a sheer lack of bun

  9. as some of you know this last few weeks i have been going on to the heaths running a few daytime rabbits, i have taken a few pics , and a load of film , trouble with the film is i only have a little compact cammera so as soon as the dogs are just 10 yard away you cant see them there retriving is far from perfect with both dogs being used , heres some pics first Tara first the old girl Visa Venus jumping IMG]http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t320/ACREPEST/DSCF1852.jpg[/img] visa interspting one , a mixi though  the mixis last seat
  10. ITS a way of joining 2 pieces of cord/rope/twine together without using a not, a common place to see this is on ropes from ships they splice them together a bit like platting. but with drawcord you use a neddle to thread one end through the other end for about 2 inch and then you do the same with the otheer end. feck thats clear aint it its hard to wright it , but very easy to do you only have to see it once and you could do it just thought theres a film called nets and net making by brian brinded, he shows you on there, have a look on ebay for it
  11. YES hole drilled, and a long point , i also sand mine smooth, helps them go in properly. i also splice my drawcords rather than tie a knot behind the peg i think i might have O.C.D or pehaps to much time on my hands
  12. in that first pic, you found one of those drop boxes didn't ya
  13. was it totaly flat when you charged it?????? with normal batteries its best to charge them from totaly flat..... if you done that then try like the post said and try a diffrent charger other than that get a new batterie £25 or get a lithium if ya can afford one
  14. nothing to do with being a hard man, i promise you its very easy to remove them with just your fingers. i bet there are vey few people here , that if they found one on them selvs would wait till you have a tick remover, or even wait till you got home, if you were in the field and found on on your body , you would pull it off streight away f**k having one on me drinking my blood
  15. FRONTLINE, VETS, ANTIBIOTICS. its a tick and quite easy to remove with just your fingers, get a good hold with your thumb and index finger and pull it out..............simmples ive never left a head in , even pulling one of my daughter when she was about 4 now for a few quid as you say the tick removers are a good buy but you realy dont need frontline, and deffo not antbiotics, they should only ever be used when needed ,...... not just in case. dont get me wrong its nice to see you care about your ferrets and i can see you have there best intrests at heart
