    heres a few more 50 odd in this pic,,done and dusted for 1.30 pm,, mol and woodga were with us but had to leave early cos of the snow 60 i think on this maybee a few more

    thats true steve most of what i do now is up there, and good bags are possible,, we did ok yeterday , but not as many as you guys,, although we did spend a fair bit of time just mooching with the dogs picking a few up,,, rather than mooving from warren to warren,,, and we didnt start till 11.30. but as you say it is nice to ferret those open warrens, it does make for easy ferreting ,, apart from the climb,,lol

    yeh , Venus was having none of that scree,,, and to be honest who could blame her,, i think she's fully awear of her limitations, what was intresting was her watching that rabbit come back up, and her just standing in line waiting to intersept it,,, of course it never got there..

    had another look up there yesterday,, another late start with me not finishing work till 8am ,, so we didnt get going till 11.30,, but even 5 hours ferreting is better than not.. had ginny spinner, frankel , and there uncle with me yesterday, and Don and Venus, were the dogs on duty, Well the ferreting gods were on our side yesterday , with most rabbits bolting ,, and seemingly the magic number was 5,, so many sets produced 5,, it was uncany,, even when it was only 3 out of tiny 2 holer, 2 foot apart ,more like a run through,, all the digs were shallow afairs,, i think only 3 digs

    i can tell you exactly what that hilux is like,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,fecking clean,, going across that flat grass field was the last time it went off road,,,,,,its realy his wifes school run motor i new if he sean this hed put that eating pic up,,, there was a time every time we went out, they would get a pic of me eating

    my best bag is 91 ferreting , there were 4 of us for about 3-4 hours , then 2 lads left,,, and me and breeze of here carried on,,, we had 2 in one net that day as well,,, thats a first for me..... i have also had 51,,,, working totaly alone a good mate of here steve called woodga has had 230 in one day ferreting ,, wich is a huge amount also had a good few 70+ days and many 60,s,,,, my best lamping with the lurcher ,, is 100 with 2 dogs exactly 50 each,, and 101 with 3 dogs but my bitch cought 53 of those. heres some pics this was 100 with 2 dogs lamping

    theres rumbling in the shooting world about carrying on til the end of febuary,,, if i were a big shooting man i would want this ,, however it would be bad for us ferreters and dog men,,, not getting on some bits till the end of the season

    the good thing about this match for us englishers,,, is NONE of think we can win it,,, i think it should be a formality for wales,, and for us to use it almost like a learning curve,, and see how to improove.. because of this,, it puts hudge pressure on you guys,, it would be a major embarresment for you to loose.. this also brings up another issue,,, whilst a win is a win,,,,,,,,,,,,its always feels better when you have played a real classy side,, and your own side have played at there best.. of course i hope we win ,,,, but its not much consulation to scrape a lucky win,,, it

    i dont know what to wright.... i mix of emotions,,, anger sadness and disbalife,,, imagin that poor girls last thoughts,, cos she obviousy had time to phone the emergency services,,, she must have been scared shitless.... what a fecking waste,,, poor girl and family

    yes i been there a few times,,, although the last time must be 15 year ago,,,, talking to one of the blokes there as he was feeding the animals,, big barrow full of rabbits,,, i asked what they cost,,, think he said 50p each. there was thousands of bunnys up there at one time,, think vhd wipped them out

    one minor point, nowt to rush about,,,,,, but could you make it esier to click between the working , and discusion section,,,, at presant you click out, then go to menu, then click on the other section,,,,, same on the ferrets as well i know it sounds like im bitching about nothing,,, sorry

    good news that wilf,,, its a bugger when dogs get injured especialy in the middle of the season,,, but at least hes on the mend. what a sad story that is stevie,, knowing you have droped a bollock is a heavy burden to carry round,,, especialy when you thought you were doing it for the right reasons

    why dont you just turn it on , and you will see what i mean.. you see the 15 foot collar has two baterries and is slightly bigger , so it doubles the depth...... all mrk 1 boxes are the same its just the sticker on the dial. your 8foot collar...will only register up to 8 foot,,,,,but your dial will be turned to its furthest point ,,, and will read 15 foot ,, but it will only be 8 foot. stand on somthing and the box will stop registering a click, after 8 foot,,,, your COLLAR will never read deeper.... now if you get a 15 foot collar,,, it will be picked up by your box in the n

    well you have a point to a certain degree doggy bag,, and i suppose if your judging a lurcher it should be on all round ability,, unless of course it is a purpose bred dog... you will notice through january i havent done many topics,,, thats because i havent wanted to tire the dog out lamping,,, been doing a good bit of daytime running as for getting sick of bunnys ,,,, well its been a 30 year love afaire so far, i cant see ever ending

    THE mk1 box does pic the mk3 collar up and it does sound difrent to the mk1 collar
