  1. the same oppatunities are there for evrybody with car Tyla,, you only have to get in it and drive to a good rabbit spot,,, dont get me wrong if your happy getting a dozen local as i often do,,, then thats fine .... but lads often say on here,"you cant get that many round me",,, no shit!!!,,, get out there and drive this aint a dig at you Tyla,, just an obsevation about yousing the above statment Aye, but seven nights a week for 7 months?   3. so yesterday my 8 year old daughter had her school sports day,, loverly day sun shinning ect. my girl did 6 races,, she wone 4 , came 2nd and came 3rd,,, so bloody great, and of course i was real proud....... but whilst watching the race she came 3rd in, i was getting anoyed in my head thinking come on what are you doing. dont get me wrong it soon wore off , but i felt bad for thinking like that for a miniut, after all there just kids enjoying a run about. has any one else felt like this???
  4. i think gnasher might have a point with snooker,,, but like was said motor sport, and bolio with those gymnastics type thing,,,, but there some track and field stuff thats technical , like pole vault tripple jump,, ect.
  5. just googled fastest ball sport and golf is about top,with a ball leaving a driver at just over 200 mile an hour,, but thats the end of it,,, where as a sport like this or tenis squash ect someone has to hit back.

I know most of the keepers in my area and get a fair bit of work with the big dogs and little dogs ...the thing now adays is the younger generation of keepers realise just what a handy tool a decent lurcher and terrier can be infact most of the younger keepers keep a lurcher now a days and will tell you that its the dog they have in the truck most . The actual grouse shooting season up here is not much more than a month and on this particular place there a re few reds as the have been culled in favour of the grouse so there is no stalking season on here ... There are more rabbits on here tha

  11. MOO do you have to get on the hill befor the grouse season to deal with pests,, or are you fortunate enough to be allowed on throughout the season.
  12. its not good going its incredible, 10.000 a year is 192 a week,,, thats 52 weeks a year , not just 6 month of hunting from sep to march ish. as i said thats some tally and dedication,,,, who has done this with one dog ideation???

  14. i try to lamp twice a week, ferret once or twice a week unless i have a paying job on when it might be more, and i try to day walk twice a week, the daywalking im lucky with as i can get 4-5 runs local to me and be home within 3 hours

  17. behind the motor on a private road a mile to the bottom and back,, build up to doing it 3 times,, so 6 mile,,,,, fast, slow, fast slow,,, its my take on fart leck type training. im lucky in the fact they can get a few runs at game down this lane,, at night with lamp.

  19. deer were legal to take in england befor the ban with dogs in daylight,, not on the lamp though remember we had staghunting with hounds ,,, ok they wernt ment to pull them,,, but thats why you could hunt them with dogs

  23. my tara still does it and she's 6 now,,,, it does have its benafits mind,,, we got a lot of johovas witness turning up at ours, its great when shes on the garden,, last time it was a fella in a pale coloured suite,,, i shouted her eventualy
