I did my old 4x4, with a cheap roll of Lino I got a roll from a carpet shop for a tener ,,,it was damaged so was cheap It was a bit Heath Robinson , but it kept the shit of the carpet, I had it going up over the wheel arches ect

i would of said the wider the better for traction.............. Yep on a normal road ,, or a wet one,,,not on snow

Also if I'm not mistaken,,, I think 1947 was even worse,,,, I remember my grandad on about it,,, with snow up to the top of hedgerows, and being able to find half staved rabbits sat on top of the hedges where they stuck through the snow

The trouble with any Welles of similar deign to what hardwick put up,,,,is them chucking muck up when you walk,,, cos with baggy Welles like that,,your trailing foot chucks up muck and it can land down the back of your other welly,,, You tend to get this when stretching out over flat seeded land,,and if you walk this kind of land you want something that's tight around your calf,,,that's why I like to have the little stats that tighten up. Got some aigle parcour iso,,, at the mo,,, and early signs are good

Always used straw,,, but this winter I have put straw in a cardboard box, taped up the top, and cut an entrance hole in it,, then placed this box, in the next box of the hutch,,, Cardboard is a great insulator.

Yep I have also found, about half a dozen frogs,, or toads ,, all huddled together in a mole tunnel,,, I assume they were hibernating

I did that at first taped the cigar socet up, real nice and tight, and it was great for a while,,, but eventually the solder on the inside of the socket gave way,,,

I get duvets from ikea,, for £ 2.50 ,,, but I've recently put a giant cardboard box on top of the raised bed, this box has a lid I cut a small hole in, and dropped the heat lamp through, I then cut a rectangle hole as an entrance to the box,,, and inside laid out the duvets,, warm as toast in there,,,,, just have to make sure your dogs are dry when they go to bed
