  1. They are just babies, its the spikers that do the damage, not babies. Im a fan of stalking and Deer management, but Im not a fan of killing babies.
  2. "Lassie" here! This company offer chew strips, but to be honest buy some metal from B&Q and cut and fix your own, very cheap. http://www.olympiansheds.co.uk/pdf/Worksho...g%20Kennels.pdf
  3. You probably can do it cheaper but is it any good? Depends on what you want doesnt it. I have "webcams" and gear them up to my PC sytem, but if you want a system you can rely on, do it properly.
  4. CCTV. Put up signs and cameras, a basic kit will cost around £500, we have just spent £800 (our own monitor) for a great kit that records etc. It will put them off if they think you can see and identify them.
  5. I enjoy this program, they are great guys and the type that wont do hunting any harm at all.
  6. What is his hip score, and have his eyes and elbows been tested too? Nice looking dog, a friend of mine is looking for a health tested stud dog of European breeding, but wouldnt entertain a none health tested dog.
  7. The lower the "f" number the faster the lens. "IS" will help with camera shake, but if you can afford it, an F/2.8 lens is excellent for movement. It "may" break the bank though depending on your budget.
  8. Yep my friend has one, VERY pleased with it. The zoom is very good, needs support at very long length if possible, but has has some excellent results.
  9. Ill ask my friend if she knows.
  10. We use TPMS never let us down, great company. Uses to use Landywoods, had wrong orders, no orders at all and green chicken!!!
  11. Dont say that Paid, we'll have all the "wrong" print stories hyped up again as Cheetah attacks!!!!
  12. Well thats the first and last time you will EVER see a Feline print leave claw marks!! They RETRACT their claws when moving, they are silent!! Same as this one I saw in the Metro this morning, possibly the same story I dont know. http://www.metro.co.uk/news
  13. nah, theres nowt wrong with her sight,,when shes out on the field shes a different dog but when shes in the garden playing with my terriers the slightest knock and you'd think shes broken something by the way she whines, she comes across as a bit of a wimp,,maybe its an attention thing, lol Ahh thats good, sounds like a clumsy pup! Hounds are notorious for screaming the place down for the slightest thing.
  14. An Afghan? Really, let it loose and you'll be lucky if you see it again!! Im surprised if its in rescue, breeders will usually have these back. Pictures?
  15. You say "bumps" is she bumping into things? Could she have sight problems?
  16. CAn you give us the settings you used Kay, the EXIF is missing. What program, ISO, Shutter, aperture etc..
  17. Thanks Kay. They race once a month, they do 100m dash, 260m, 450m and a long distance but not sure how long it it. Any dog can run at whichever distance they want. Usually the first Sunday in the month, £3 per race, £1 per dash. An Afghan, wearing a silly jacket!!
  18. Yes it is Stripe, I enjoy watching them trial the Greyhounds before we start too, excellent stuff.
  19. Yes it was Organised by Afghan racing Jimmy, and Afghan it was. Its Ellesmere Port.
  20. A few from today, though some may like to see them.
  21. Really nice shots, like the second one best, very smart, good composition!
  22. Trigene is one of the most safe disinfectants there is. Its safe in all aspects of animal (and human) husbandry, we have used it exclusively in our boarding kennels for almost 16yrs now. Not sure where you got the info about if not being safe, would like to see it though if you can point me to it as the Medichem folk were recently round our place and never mentioned it. Safe4pets is a fraction of the price from what I gather?
