In 2009 , I was working and based in Suffolk , I lived in a flat in Ipswich and had my dog with me . On a late summers Friday, maybe early sept , I was driving up the A1 with my mate in the car and the dog on the back seat, an Audi A4 saloon , I’d never been on the fen in it . There was a smash at the bottom of Peterborough and the A1 was diverted off and up into Grantham way . Pathetic really , the idea that high winds causing structural collapse on buildings etc is accounted for in the construction , so it’s the fact that the temporary structures etc are now off . Wonder how many hotel rooms etc will have been booked for months by people making significant journeys ?

The man is barely literate by all accounts . How he passed his coaching exams is a mystery really . he needs to have a minute , relax and find his way as pundit . He’s very intuitive as that , he’s no manager clearly .

If I can tie in two threads at once with the happy place one. For many years I have worked at distance from my family , I’ve had journeys of 300 miles Friday and Sunday for the best part of a decade intermittently over the last 16 . Some of my most deepest thoughts and relaxation have came sat on an empty motorway at 1 in the morning with a podcast on totally and utterly alone in the world . sometimes it’s good for your soul to be unfettered by outside distractions
