  1. Unfortunately there are a large number who have failed to master even the basics of good english and grammar. Let alone trying to make themselves understood and be able to convey a decent POV in a phonetically written regional dialect or language. As the country becomes more multi cultural and direct verbal communications become more widely available so we have seen a dilution of regional differences in language and dialects. Its easy to see why the likes of Gaelic and Welsh are slowly dying. As they serve on real purpose other than as a mean of clinging to some out moded ideal of regional
  2. I can understand it just about, but isn't it more effort to try and phonetically type your accent than to just use english and grammar? Are there scottish chaps who can't understand english people? Doesn't seem worth worrying about really though does it
  3. I don't know why you would kill them, they mostly just eat smaller fish/frogs etc. Coromorants can do a lot more damage to fisheries, but imo it should be factored in to your business plan you are going to lose a few fish and I bet more of the large valuable fish get injured/killed by anglers anyway.
  4. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Here's a photo of the kit and one of the scopes, which I have nicked from secretagentmole as I am having problems with my phone atm
  5. had a couple of pms asking if it is multi or single. It is a single shot, but you can get it converted pretty cheaply at about £60.
  6. I bought this rifle from this forum not too long ago and it is in as-new condition. No marks or scuffs and it hasn't had much use to be fair. I have been off sick from work for 6 weeks and I need the money otherwise I would keep it. It comes with everything you need inc bottle and adaptor, two scopes, bag and even a few pellets if you need them. I am only asking £400 for a quick sale, I am based in cambridgeshire but I can meet half way if you have a long way to travel. Face to face cash sale only please. I will have to take some pics and put them up soon, but there is one already on the
  7. I agree if you can't walk your own dog you shouldn't have one, it really winds me up so it would be nice to give some poor dogs a decent bit of exercise. There isn't any competition apart from a company about 15 miles away that can cover this area, so not too bad. I can do my own online marketing no problem and I hope by giving my details to local boarding kennels, putting ads in the local paper and posters in the post office/vets etc I can get some interest. I have experience with everything except horses, including birds of prey so that might be a good direction too. Thanks for the r
  8. I am looking for a bit of advice. I have always wanted to work with dogs but I have never had the opportunity. So I am thinking of starting my own dog walking business and hopefully pet sitting and day care in the future when I have moved house. Has anybody else tried the same? I really can't afford for it to fail because I have no savings, but I just can't handle the boring 9-6 bullshit routine anymore I really can't. I just have doubts because I can imagine lots of people try the same, and there is no skill involved to stop anybody trying. Would you pay £10/hour or £15 for 2 hours a couple
  9. I can't find a job where I can earn enough money and still have time for dogs. I would consider doing any job where you can take a dog to work, but I haven't got many ideas. I would love to just be a dog walker but I am not sure I can make a living from it. Do you any of you have dog friendly jobs? or if not then how do you have time for dogs?
  10. i have never seen it done but heard of 1 that has took a female feso and on the iff someone was trying to take feso not sure how he got on if you wanted 1 mainly for feso id go for the goshawk or theres a few spar cross gosses about now there more suited I have heard it too and there are vids about on youtube I think. But it isn't something that is very repeatable, a spar would get a proper kicking from a cock pheasant and it's very risky. They will learn quickly they aren't worth the bother, a bit like a merlin that decides skylarks really aren't worth the energy. But if you are aski
  11. my rottie would get quite bad dandruff at times, so i tried some dandruff shampoo from the shop. I think they assume you will be using it all the time though for it to work, so it's useless for most people. I ended up getting some from the vet at about £30, but sorted his skin out very quickly and i only used it twice. I think it's expensive and hate giving money to vets, but i would hate to be itchy so I wouldn't let a dog be uncomfortable either.
  12. it definitely is too young, if there are any new chaps looking at these birds I would suggest not to unless there is a very very good explanation.
  13. In a survival situation it would have to be Bear, because if i was stuck for 5 mins with that fat boy scout Ray I would have to choke him on his own pedo-shorts. I really hate the arrogant twat.

'wiped out for a reason'. I can't believe someone as ignorant as you can exist...unbelievable
  15. there's an Ultra full kit for sale on here at £400 inc filler bottle, new. Very tempted but I still have my reservations on the quality/consitency I really can't be doing with a rifle I don't have trust in. I would prefer a nicer rifle secondhand. But this might be a good deal, I would appreciate advice because I think I am being a bit prejudice.
  16. Any pics? calibre? scope etc?
  17. I would consider getting another lighthunter fn12, I couldn't really fault it apart from being single shot. I used to prefer heavier rifles when I was in a club and did a lot of target/HFT stuff but for purely hunting I prefer a light rifle you can just sling on your shoulder and forget about. The BSA Ultra seems alright, I had a look at one before getting the falcon but it just had the feel of something cheaply made. Which is fine, I don't want to worry about it getting knocked about a bit but can you rely on them? But for the price, it does make the huntsman look a bit expensive I don
  18. I sold my last air rifle over a year ago and can finally afford another. I don't really know where to get the best deal though, I haven't seen anything that has taken my eye within budget. My first rifle was a rapid 7 mk1 which i loved and had for years and years. I also have had a logun mkII and a falcon lighthunter. I did NOT like the logun as it was too big, heavy and I was contantly banging the silencer, but the lighthunter opened my eyes to small rifles you can shoot from a car with no bother. I am leaning towards getting a Daystate hunter classic (i think that's what they are called any
  19. Have you ever looked at this scientifically, or looked at what's more likely? You saw a dark shape whilst squinting at the sun which disappeared later. Stare at any light and you will see a dark circle for a few seconds, why would you jump to a supernatural explanation? Or even if there was a person walking and they proceeded to fall down a hole, which then unfortunately collapsed etc it would still be more likely than a supernatural explanation. We know holes exist, we know how gravity works and we know it could happen, we also know what can't happen. There is a very simple scientific answer
  20. not even this world could be cruel enough to have two twats like that. No, he will probably have an easy life though and his mum can carry on wishing she had a daughter I have seen bits, the guy on the bike was good but didn't get through. If I had a clue who might win I would have a bet on it, I just don't want the camp kid to win.
  21. I personally wouldn't get one because of the associated health problems with the breed. Too much irresponsible ignorant breeding as with most non-working dogs. I would be interested to see what they should look like and what they were orginally bred for because i don't know much about them at all, i have disregarded them a lot.
  22. if you want to minimize your risk you need to set up an algorithm that does the work for you. It's annoying, but a lot of these super-rich traders just type in what price they want to buy/sell at and leave the computer to it. It isn't really that easy though, it's a massive gamble but these companies have enough equity to be able to take massive losses, and build it back very quickly. I have been interested myself, I had this website as a client at work ages ago and signed up. It uses live stock prices, and virtual money for you to have a dabble. I had a go but I really don't understand most o
  23. of course, the editing is by far the best of any show. It's tv gold, but only if taken ironically like it's supposed to
