can't believe i read all that lol. Sounds like a complete twat, although i have learnt from a young age you need to hear both sides of the story, but if what you say is how it happened then stitch the f****r up. Do have a question though, how do you work terriers if you are 'disabled' and can't work??
-
you can raise a naturally aggressive dog to be placid, or visa versa. You CAN breed a dog to be aggressive, like dog-aggressive pits etc So 99.9% of the time its the owner, not necessarily on purpose but most people don't know what they are doing. Then theres the dogs with brain damage etc with no chance of being rehabilitated, which is so extremely rare its babrely worth mentioning.

theres vids on youtube of a pelican eating a pigeon, and i saw one of a cow eating a chick too, strange when it happens but i suppose its like a dog eating shit, sometimes the instinct is they lack something in their diet so they eat things they wouldn't normall.y Or just by accident

firstly i disgree with this "stitches burst you could see his brain it was about 3 inches wide" this isn't hannibal. Its not the vets fault, my rotty got hit by a car and he's spent the last month stuck indoors...is it the vets fault he's become hyper and pulls on the lead now? He had a go at some of the vets when they tried to touch his bad leg...so what? Should i put him to sleep? From what i could understand, it sounds like there was a lot of fluid build up which caused the stitches to come apart. The vet could have drained the wound and stopped that, he/she should have told you. If the

sorry about my last comment i was in a bad mood, i appreciate he's doing the right thing in selling them. I would love to give them a home i have reptiles of my own with a lot of experience, but i just don't have £220. If he is wanting a good home and will let them go cheaper i will take them and get a decent viv commissioned for them. They will need a small room with a nice big pool to soak in etc. So thats my offer, a good home. -

I know i am a nob for making this thread when i am not out working dogs everyday, but is it me or doesn't any f****r keep there dogs for more than a season? People are selling dogs on this site because they 'have too many' how can you get into a situation when you have too many by accident, you don't buy 5 when you can keep 3. I know there are genuine reasons, and we can all accept that and its sad when it happens. But i buy a dog for life. If you buy a dog and its not up to scratch, whos fault is that? Do your research when buying a dog, and if you move it on be honest about it none of this 1

I posted because i just got made redundant, and i have been volunteering walking dogs at a rescue and had great fun with a tiny little terrier. He was crying to get down rabbit holes, and when we walked past one i didn't see in the grass i ended up dragging him back out. I never thought he would fit but it reminded me of an ad i saw a while ago. Someone was selling 'ferret terriers', just very small terriers he claimed were better than ferrets and small enough to run through th holes? I have to admit, after walking that terrier i want to take him home and go dig some bunnies
-
If a terrier can nip in and out of a warren, why do we use ferrets? A terrier will retrieve them back. How small does a terrier need to be to work with ferrets, or instead of ferrets at all.

what happened to that female you had, i came out with you before witrh my red

looked about as sporting and challenging as stamping on a worm. Whats the point in this kind of killing? Its just canned hunts for people without the skill, patience and respect to hunt the way it should be done.
-
i'd be interested, but i never got round to looking. I thought you had to pay for the sites etc?
-
To give the idiots credit, at least they all admitted its 100% down to how they have treated their dogs and abused them to try and show aggression. But the whole show was utterly bias against certain breeds, trying to make it sound like the craze is about 'big dangerous dogs', not the way people want dogs. Large breeds have always been around, pits have always been around and always will be and i sleep soundly at night until people put that much effort into being the biggest c**t in the world.

cost me £400 a month rent for a 3 bedroom semi, 2 double bedrooms and all largish other rooms. Decent garden too, but whe you add on council tax, electricity etc its ridiculous, i could only just scrape by if i didn't share it with my girlfriend. So theres your answer, get 2-3 girlfriends to split the costs

saw this on the news yesterday, made me f*****g sick. Especially the parts about an 18 month old being 'shared' Why not keep them alive until the kids they abused are old enough to defend themselves and get some revenge? Keep them only just alive though...
-
how old was she when you got her? sometimes they learn a bit of manners if left with siblings/mother a bit longer. Might sound daft, and you will definitely sound it, but try making a high-pitched yelp like dogs do in pain when she bites. Its what other dogs do and they respond to it and seem to understand it hurts, and learn quicker than when simply making them think its wrong. If it doesn't work, spread your fingers and give her a quick, but not harsh poke in the side when she does, physically telling a dog 'no' has more impact when its serious, but NEVER hurt, its meant to be a shock no

anone ever got chilli in their eye, the hot stuff....or gone for a waz after cutting chillis or a vindaloo...thats not fun. Pranked a mate with tobasco down his crack, funniest thing i have ever seen

i've had birds of prey grab me, ferrets bite me, been shot in the back of the knee with an air rifle, had cigarettes put out on me dozen times, broken my tail bone, cracked a rib so i couldn't breathe-in without stabbing pain...but the only thing thats made me really yell with pain is f*****g cramp. The worst cramp imaginable all down my leg and foot for about 30 mins was more than i could handle, never felt anything like it and never had since. My leg hurt for 3 months after....hurts to think about it. but what really hurt was when i asked out cara brett when i was 11 and she said yes...chan

about as much as i expected the older i get, the more i really f*****g hate the way this country is run. I used to laugh at older people moaning, but the sheer ignorance people can get away with in such priveleged, apparently educated and trusted positions is utterly infathomable.
