  1. I generally agree with what you say, but since when do dogs hold a grudge? I have never known anything like it, they might remember getting hurt but I think you are being anthropomorphic if you think a dog will hold a grudge against another dog. I would say that if a dog thinks another dog has crossed the line it will attack straight away and sort it out, then the balance has been restored and they carry on. I don't think dogs hold any resentment towards a leader dog, they know their place and live from day to day.
  2. Not as old as you lot (a mars bar used to be 23p not bartered for a goat) but I don't think there were many days I hadn't skinned my elbows and knees, fallen into nettles or some other daft injury from not being scared of anything. But even when I was older we used to jump our bikes over this ridiculous fence into a factory, so the security guards would chase us...or breaking in to school and letting the pig out (still don't know why we had a pig, cows and chickens all over the shop)
  3. the daft c**t dragged this up three years late, then deletes his own comments...what a bell end. I wouldn't post his address, because he would almost certainly get a visit from someone and you would probably get blamed for inciting an attack or some bollocks.
  4. You're right mate, we should all f**k meat & dairy products off completely and stick eating tofu, Quorn and soya burgers.. Not being funny or trying to imply anything, but some of your posts lately have displayed a distinct lack of knowledge about the way the countryside we hunt in works. I know very, very few people on here or in real life who would advocate the wiping out of any species. It's all about understanding the need for control. Most of the countryside as we know it isn't a natural habitat, it's a man made environment which is the way it is due to centuries of being tended
  5. OK then, what is the daftest bet you have ever made?
  6. That was my first guess (I kept birds of prey for years), but then a fox or badger would have needed to remove the remains. Which is plausible, but it seems very unlikely a buzzard could have made the kill, fed up, then a fox take the carcass in approximately an hour before I walked back. Or, I just missed it on my way past which is more likely, but it was still warm, and it wouldn't stay warm for long at all.
  7. I got my mate into trouble, I jokingly said 'why not just bet £1 on black, if it loses double your bet, then when you win again just go back to £1 and do it again'....I just meant it as a joke since if you double your bet each time it can become ridiculous very quick. Well he wasn't as clever as I thought and emptied his bank account, but we were students so it was about £100... i did this a few years back now in las Vegas. doubled up every time and i had to stop as i ran out of chips and spent what i budgeted for that day. a bet on black 8 times in a row and it was red! have been back
  8. I don't know why, try this http://tinypic.com/r/s5eo1d/5
  9. I thought so, but it is weird because it wasn't there when I walked past the first time and it was fresh and warm, so it must have killed it in broad daylight with me only a few hundred yards away. I will have to go down with a lamp and see if I can spot them, because although the setts look like they have been cleared out I am still not convinced they are living in them. (I am not going to disturb them before someone kicks off)
  10. Wolves are one of my favourite animals, I want to work with them. I watched the programme but it wasn't the best, but I think they do have a valid point. It really pisses me off how greedy and selfish people are with livestock, if you let animals run around free then surely you should expect some to go missing (like cats), be it predators or drowning in a stream etc. Pheasants in the UK are a perfect example, they are going to wander off, get hit by cars or otherwise but if a keeper spots a buzzard or goshawk then they shoot the poor bugger. Don't get me wrong though, if a predator like a wolf
  11. I was mooching around a small woods dicking about with my new slingshot and stumbled across this. I thought it was a bit odd and I assume it was a badger, which is interesting because the sett seemed abandoned until recently but now shows signs of activity. Am I right, or any better guesses?
  12. That's the right mentality, I would never gamble expecting to win. It's just about enjoying it, roulette is fun with a group of mates after work but in reality it's a shit game and even with the most cunning system, you will just end up losing slower. But I always quit when I am ahead, hence I never play anymore. But poker is great, even if you lose £10 you can still enjoy an evening spent playing, which is a cheaper few hours than most other night activities, unless its labs mum. (that is the last lab joke, I am not getting dragged on to that band wagon, but who else can I make a mum joke abo

  14. I hope whoever gets this bitch can post a thread of her progress, hopefully stock broken or just not near sheep (which isn't particularly hard). After all he said the bitch wasn't for him anymore, not that he had tried and failed so she is a lost cause etc. Crazy comments as usual, but good luck with her I think you made the right choice.
  15. I can see how it can easily get a grip on someone, especially when you start out lucky or really love the sport/game. I think poker is a good outlet because you can buy-in to a tournament and that is the maximum you can lose. I have had a few silly wagers on drawing a high card etc when a bit high, but I won so all is well
  16. What's your favourite way to gamble? The honourable past time for the English masses (more bookies than corner shops in some places). I used to work near a casino and dabbled with roulette, but I wouldn't reccommend it to anyone. I used to play with £20-£40 and usually walk away with £70-£100, but obviously lost a few times too so decided to quit forever after winning £400 in one spin, my birthday blowout. But I do love poker, which I think offers the best odds for gambling as you can really control it and I see it as more of a game than a wager. I played over this easter as my gf work
  17. I love the irony on this thread 'how dare they be racist, niggers are all the same' multiculturialism = pretending we like each other
  18. I can see why the dog is the victim, it must have had a dickhead owner. But I can't see why people are kicking off about shooting a shotty in public, they did what they had to do in the end whoever's fault it is. If a dog has been raised so badly that it attacks kids and then somehow is let to run the streets, it's going to get shot. But I would like to see a few more headlines like "Insecure fuckwit raised an aggressive dog, which has paid the bill for them...AGAIN" instead of 'Oooh nooo a bull breed, why won't somebody please think of the children!"
  19. I would pay a good amount of money to get a few people killed, defo worth 1m to watch Piers Morgan die (with a starving rat and a wire cage). Then travel the world visiting various animal rehabilitation centres (orangutans, bears etc), and buying as much rainforest as I can as I go and a small amount goes a long way in the armpit countries. Then either buy a small zoo or start my own, that would keep my very very happy until I died, if I could make it break even before I run out of cash.
  20. Personally I would avoid halfords, for £500 I would look at getting a newish second hand bike off ebay or other trading site. Bikes lose their value very quickly, people can spend £3k on a custom balls out bike and sell it for a grand a year later it seems. This is what I have http://www.marin.co.uk/2012/bikepage.php?ModNo=12PT but the older model, Marin do great frames for the money and I haven't changed anything on mine and it has served me well (but any bike is still beyond my skill level, so that doesn't say much)
  21. Irony is a fantastic when it is at your own expense. I have a lot of experience with bartering biscuits for sexual favours, so I can almost follow some of this. But next time I read a thread like this, brace yourself for whinge that would make lois spence's hissy at being ignored look like wolverine getting a splinter
  22. his sexuality! it's his ma's fault for letting dirty uncles patrick babysit for him when she was out working in 'hospitality', the late night horror films were the least of his worries! Sorry ratreeper, I'll translate that for you just in case it's seen as an 'in joke'....your uncle shagged you up the gary while your mum was out working as a hooker, and therefore you now think you might be gay. Firstly, my uncle was a very nice man and what we did together was something beautiful, he told me it was our special time and it is still dear to me. But at least he loved me, I don't suck
