    You are right in a sense. But badgers are social family orientated animals. If amateurs start hammering badgers and not killing the whole family in a sett, you risk those badgers being displaced which, assuming these badgers even had TB, would cause them to increase the likeliness of them passing it cattle or even more badgers. Not saying you're wrong, just that there are draw backs to any method. the fact they are family orientated makes culling a far easier task than if they were solitary Thats if you dig them, but even then, you need to dig the entire set up because they live in chambers

    im glad they got the wounded badger patrol team ,.............out day and night looking for wounded ones,..............     ive had this bollox before mate and it wasn't a lump it was full of puss,..........where a foreign body was in there ,.............give it a course of anti biotics first and monitor the lump,..........if it doesn't shrink then you may need surgery,.........some lumps can be cut open and cleaned out if its infection...... the lump on my dog was hard and after I was robbed by the vet he even told me it was full of puss........ seriously try antibiotics first,......keep an eye on the dog as if its habits change it could be poisoning the body...just make sure the dog is its normal self.........

    before you touch that rabbit you should of patted the dog and praised it with then a dominant command as you took it off her..............touch the dog first and make it feel at ease and it will release the tention ,............instead of snatching its hard earned prize.........when dogs come to you they need to realise its them that is rewarded instead of going straight for its prize as it will be reluctant to come next time..............always stroke / pat the dog first before you take the game and it will bring them on better....
