    with out reading the thread,............names or lines or whatever you want too call it don't take long too go off track ,...especially the big commercial breeders .......the blood is thinned every time its crossed to a non related blood line,....... names / lines are non existant ,.......you should breed from the dogs you have seen work and not heard about...........keeping the blood tight and the pups you have given too mates , having all the feed back on the mating.......good dogs don't guarantee anything they just give you best possible chance of having a decent worker.....     do a shrine in his memory mate,..............a place you can go too when your feeling down ,............a place where you can put things related to him ,...photos , candles,.......what ever ,............I done it for my loved one and instead of going too a grave yard , her ashes are at home with us in her shrine,.........so its my kind of getaway.......... doesn't have to be big , ....its just a place where you can hold on too them good memories............and have a think..... .life is shite at times and takes the best from us first..........atb

    theres a big difference in breeding from proven working dogs than there is racing dogs,..............don't get me wrong ,........ex racers turn into good workers,.........but a decent lurcher will fill the freezer and that's the whole point of a lurcher being a lurcher , having it cross bred from terriers/collies/etc,etc. ................lurcher racing is just a bit of fun , but you will always get the rosette chasers ,..........what don't prove anything of a dogs working ability..........if pure sight hounds were that good at hunting everyone would be using them .......and some do,.........bu
