  1. Skoda scout 4x4 massive boot, great on fuel, chugs along nicely... Got one myself as I need an all round motor for everything
  2. Here is pic of Kirstysdads old dog.. Dog was a real Legend and worked up to a ripe old age, I was lucky enough to get a lining of this dog
  3. Great post.... Black and Tan the Father to Kirstysdads dog and the red terrier is his brother. Both doing the job
  4. I was referring to the Dacia Duster being built like Lego fella. Someone suggested one above. I've got a Vectra estate. Torn between getting one of these 4x4 estates (probably the Audi all road) and going down the MPV route (zafira or vw Touran). I really like the touran and the extra headroom would come in handy, especially as I will fit a dog cage to the back. I like the skodas. Would want the octavia VRS myself but that is smart what you've had. I imagine the 4 wheel drive will have its uses. Hi Gaz, The Audi All Road is definitely a smart bit of kit but I just couldn't justi

  7. Haha Gaz you want to make your mind up, on the same day you said these motors were like Lego lol Averaging 45 to 55mpg huge boot and the same build quality as a vw or Audi at a much cheaper price,
  8. I picked it up and it's spot on to be honest, good on fuel, massive boots, 4x4 cruises on the motorway easily at a decent speed, and inside is basically the same components as vw Audi so fancy Lego it is then What you driving Gaz ???
  9. Thanks for the feedback guys, I'm picking it up later today so hopefully it will suit me for both work and the dogs with the occasion mooching across some rough tracks and fields . Cheers again all
  10. Just sold my old car and I'm thinking of buying a Skoda Octavia Scout the 4x4 version, I'm no hard core off roader and need a dual usage car as I travel 60 miles to work and back each day so needs to be economical the car also needs to be big enough in the boot to fit the dogs and kit in the back with some room for the passengers at the weekends Anyone had one, or can comment what they are like ?
  11. Still a youngster, give him a rest and try him again next season on a nice few easy ones to boost his confidence
  12. I have a couple of working Lakies, fortunately for me I was lucky enough to keep my line going thanks to Kirstysdad who was kind enough to let me put his well proven Lakeland dog over my bitch, I searched long and hard for a well proven Lakeland dog to stud and it was well worth the wait, unfortunately the dog passed away last week but he has left some great blood from the pups he has sired and some real big boots to fill PIcture of the sire (Kirstysdads) dog My bitch that I put lined with Kirstysdads dog (13 years old and still proving a useful dog to have around) Cou
