Okay had the collars on my dogs now for about 8 months and had no trouble at all.. never had a situation where I can track the dogs and now I've had the tracker I really wouldn't want to be without it Recommend .... most defiantly... Sportdog Tek 01

I've only had mine a couple of weeks and so far I'm impressed, I can only comment on my own experiences and so far so good but I will post in a couple of months with an update

I'm not sure, there's this things called waypoints that you can store, I'll have a play at the weekend and try and suss it out and get back to you

I got the Tek 01 and really pleased with it... I use it on one on my Terriers who hits a line and can travel some distance and I go out a lot on my own quite a lot working big areas of cover, I had to modify the collar slightly to fit the dog and also tiewrapped the B&f locator module underneath the GPS receiver on the sportdog.. I gotta say I'm pretty impressed so far and certainly takes a lot of the stress away when trying to find your dog on your own

Terry I think you have the older version that is radio frequency and a bigger collar, the Tek 1 is a gps version of the one you have but I'm hoping the collars are a bit smaller. Got a few Amazon vouchers given to me by work which will cover at least half the cost , then I can rent it out to you lol. See you Tuesday buddy

Would that be the octavia scout? Yes mate, it's the Scout model that's the 4X4 -
It's in permanent 4wd but in normal driving condition about 90% of the power directed to the front wheels, when the front wheels start to lose grip the car automatically sends power to the other wheels, this way it saves on the fuel. I got a say for me it's the perfect balance for a general mooching, family and travel to work car. MPG Wise it does around 45 Mpg with some spirited driving, if I drive like my wife it gets over 50 to 55mpg..
