I arrived at my ground for 1st light and really hoped I would score this morning as the weather was quite good.Anyway after stalking for 2 hours I had seen nothing and was starting to get a bit disheartened when suddenly I spooked a doe with twin kids............this was 9.30am. I carried on stalking and headed for the far end of my ground where I thought I might be lucky. I glassed the valley and spotted 3 roe dowm by the river, a doe and 2 bucks.I watched them for about 10 minutes and noticed that the buck at the back of the group was lagging behing the others and carrying a leg.   4. Out on friday night for a shine , not out long as lamp died on us but my mate managed to shoot a cracking dog fox laid up under a hedge. Out ferretting on Saturday with Woodga , glorious day , we had a good laugh especially when Woodga slid right down a bank and nearly landed in the stream Heres afew pics!!! Out for a stalk on Friday afternoon ,it was blowing a gale but I wanted to see what signs of roe there were in this particular wood that I havent been in for ages.I entered the wood with a strong wind in my face and glassed 2 does immediately.Now I tried to shoot off and old tree stump and managed to snatch the trigger, off ran 3 roe , 2 does and a buck. I was a bit pissed off to say the least but carried on, I had only gone 100 yards up the wood and spied another doe, this time I made no mistake and dropped her on the spot I continued to stalk the wood and noticed another doe

Travelled down to a farm I have permission on, where there are a few sika yesterday , in search of another Sika stag.On arrival I spied 9 sika in the 1st field but no stags all hinds and calfs.I decided to try for them anyway. Luckily there was a water bowser in the field and that was where I crawled to to take my shot , I was covered in shit as the farmer had just sprayed the field :sick: I picked out a deer standing broadside and squeezed off the trigger, it fell on the spot.The rest of the group ran only about another 20 yards so I lined up on the lead hind and once again a good st

  17. I agree with pegandgun entirely.If they dont want to bolt they wont.I used to ferret a piece of ground and there was a certain sett that we always pushed 3 or 4 rabbits into, but they never bolted from it we always had to dig them.
