  3. Same old ,same old ,not your ground so dosnt affect you .Stick to what you know and let others do their thing .Its different for areas where theres a lot of hares ,they are a pest and need controlling plus theres a pound or two to sell them .Get off your high horse and get real . not having a go at you mate its your choice what you do its just a shame to see such a lovely animal go that way when theres a lot more sport in the coursing of it. atb mike What do you mean coursing ????? 4. I was on the phone last night to a farmer and she said the fields are now cut and that shed seen a fox the previous night . " Can you come and get it ? " she said . So me and Ratcherman arrived at the farm at around 10.30 pm. But it was very still and a bit mist hanging around Anyway I lamped a fox in the 2nd field and after stopping it with a HOY Ratcherman knocked it over. 6. Shoot captain phoned on Monday night to say that a fox had killed more poults and could I have a look out. So me and Ratcherman arrived at the shoot for 7pm and laid in ambush at the pen but no fox showed. We then had a quick look with the lamp and spotted this fox laid in the hedgerow in the next field. Ratcherman shot it , I made a quick call to the shoot captain and he was well chuffed , hopefully its the culprit !!

I turned the car round but he had vanished I thought I would see if he was there with the lamp later. We lamped one spot and the foxes just werent playing ball , we were seeing them but no shots offered . I climbed over a dry stone wall in the darkness and took a couple of steps forward only to disappear 3 foot down a drainage ditch I badly bruised my cocsics and was a bit shaken but we carried on !!! 12. I arrived on my ground this morning at 6 am and was greeted with a blanket of fog I stalked very carefully as I could only see about 100 yards in front of me but the morning sun was rising and burning the mist off quick I stalked along the edge of a small copse and viewed the grass field around the corner but nothing there. I then proceeded down the next hedgeline stopping about 200 yds further on. I stopped and looked back and there was a fox in the field where I had just checked out. I backtracked to the field but couldnt see the fox , so I set my rifle up on the sticks and
