    I know what you're saying but we had Countryside marches in London, did anyone take notice....NO. The antis don't care they just want a ban. The Hunting Act was a bit of a deal to get it passed ,trailhunting allowed what a joke. The political parties thought that would keep everyone happy, but they forgot that antis will never stop til it's all banned. It will get passed and we will follow as the law at the moment isn't fit for purpose.

    That's sad but we've had it since 2005 so its inevitable unfortunately. The ban hasn't stopped anyone over here though so I imagine it will be the same over there. ????

    If you want to photograph badgers there is a huge sette on one of my permissions where I often watch them if you dont mind travelling to Durham

    Well it started snowing here on Christmas Eve and its snowed every day since , really heavy this morning. Typical I cant remember having such good weather for pheasant shooting and we are not allowed. Starting to feel a bit better today , it's the tiredness that gets you.

    Depends on your budget really. Sako are great but so are Tikka T3 which are a lot cheaper but come out of same factory. Optics depends on what you want to spend , Swarovski, Zeiss, Schmidt and Bender all good scopes , rule of thumb buy the best you can afford.

    Well the wife has just tested positive for Covid so I am self isolating ? She is tired , aching all over , has a cough and cant taste her food . I have requested a home test kit as seem ok but am starting to get a tickly cough.

    Good luck. I've never stalked pheasants with a rifle but I can imagine what it's like as on my squirrel ground the pheasants are all wild and really hard to get within shotgun range.

    I went out squirrelling too ? again didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised. Snow all gone and a decent day with a few hail showers. Finished with 12 only missing 1 so not too shabby. One squirrel ran into a hole in the tree but was peeping out thinking I couldn't see it ,it soon got no 6 shot in the face ?
