    They can be more than a grand depending on barrel,stock etc, my mate who’s head keeper on a commercial shoot has one ,never has any problems with subs,an he don’t go anywhere without it so worth it to him but for me probably a second hand 10/22 and add some rim fire magic mods as needed to make it cycle subs 100%

    Is that a standard 10/22 or modded, I’ve got a 22 on my ticket an can’t make my mind up on a rim fire magic 10/22 about a grand ish or get a standard and add a few mods myself? Decisions?

    It’s on a sidewinder, that works as it should in day light as I use it for roe and muntjac, it’s the 16 mm ( think) you only get probably half - one third of the scopes cross, cost me a fox last Friday night as I couldn’t find it in the scope before it was gone , it’s also very focus fussy

    I’ve got a photon 6x50 an with the right laser ( modded) it totally pees all over my pard 007 , but I would never have another photon or 007 , unless I’ve got a dud 007 ?, I used to have the older photon with a doubler and that was better field of view than the pard 007

    I payed a grand for my drone from a mate (mates rates) an then sent to Kev gun for mount with lens support, my foxing pal got one for 12 with the Kev mount already fitted so his was cheaper than mine , If you Want a proper foxing set up get a drone if not get a 008

    I have a pard 007 for the 243 , don’t like the thing, slow an laggy an field of view is shocking,I have shot plenty of foxes with it but not my cup of tea. I have a drone on my foxing rifle, Drone pro or env 10 or 15 with Kev gun mounts will let you stay out in rain mist an fog when all the others including thermal in heavy rain will be useless, second hand drone 1000 ish, new env 10, 2200 ish, Kev gun mounts, well you’ll av to speak to kev about that ?

    Tikka t3x supper Varmint 223, just collected it this week ,the drone didn’t sit write on the howa 223 so thought I’d treat me self , groups well with superformance and home loads, highly recommend one of these .

    Same ere, seeing nothing on my local permissions,but the land I travel to , plenty but with the amount of birds on there that’s understandable ( commercial shoot) , unless they’re getting thermal shy ?

    I’ve just purchased a t3x supervarmint, ( not collected yet as waiting for 1 for 1 to come back) the bloke in shop told me he’ll adjust the trigger for me, was hopping that 1260 quid got you something that didn’t need more money spending on it ?

    Hope you don’t need land to be passed, Notts told me I couldn’t use my 243 on one of my permissions because it was only passed for 22 250 an they had no one employed to go out to approve said land so they gave me a 223 for that land ? ?

    Mine feels heavy in the hand but doesn’t imbalance the gun , i can’t tell it’s there when on the gun , an sound moderation is very good on the 223, excellent on 17 hornet and as good as any of my friends mods on the 243 and a lot smaller than most of there’s , weight is 345g

    What caller you using? I’ve got a icotec gc500 with a few roe calls on , might give it a go , did call a muntjac with the gc500 right to side of truck while out waiting for Fox

    New 243 purchased, got a ase ultra SL5i on my 223 in 25 cal an that works ok ,should I get another or is there something better for a 243 ? Don’t mind 300 to 400 £.ish

    Got the exact same one last week and a side winder ? , zeroed mine with superformance 58g also tried some cheap 90g , got to get a mod now , been using one off my 223 ase ultra in 25 cal works ok

    First shot at night ? I wasn’t mind full ?, A angled eye cup like on my helion thermal would be better

    Just got a sidewinder an pard fa my 223 , only just fitted an zero so we’ll see at weekend , first thing I noticed was field of view was less than photon also had to fold the rubber eye cup back to get on it properly, let’s hope I get on with it at night

    I’m happy with how it performs now but I bet I put 100 rounds through it an loads of cleaning before it grouped properly , I’ve got a 243 to purchase so might look at a tikka , there not much more money than a stainless howa

    Would this be the reason mine didn’t group very well to start with? But plenty of cleaning an shooting was all it needed

    I’ve got a Howa 223 ,very accurate rifle with 53g hornady supperformance

    I've got a aluminium 20moa rail on mine, needs the slope to zero, works fine and is very accurate but every now and then it'll move about an inch or two for no reason, this is my 3rd photon an not one of them have held zero 100% , all have needed regular checking
