    yes - a quality day - the guy with the blue eyebrows is always there - but - Elvis was a new attraction - although im going to admit his girlfriend has got a dog that i bred a few years ago - then there was the chap with his 3RD THAI bride on his arm ! - please - no TING TONG jokes - but you always get some quality totty at this show -as usual there was a lovely display of LUCINDAS and Fionnas - the girl doing the raffle was sheer class !!

    Haha my mums car was fine. Had a good day, got first and second place with my pup in the lurcher shows. Visited your stall. Did you see that old bloke with blue eye brows and that oher bloke that looked like elvis/? I got a photo of that bloke with blue eyebrows and the bow in his hair, I'm sure Tomo had a little touch on looking at him ............. Left the camera in the car, will post them tomorrow lol You should have said hello! I'm not nearly as grumpy as I look!

    as i work for a fish merchant i feed cod - haddock -plaice - i boil it up with veg - mine love it

    ive brought the dog off taff for my lads birthday next week and found taff a pleasure to deal with - a proper dogman -£50 for a dog with troy - paddy - golly in his lines - got to be value for money !!

    is that how they judge it first dog to breek the hare then get back in to it cheers at CLONMEL the emphasis is on speed due to it being a park course - at the waterloo cup you need stamina aswell due to the land the dogs were running on

    remember you are watching greyhounds at Clonmel not saluki based lurchers - in greyhound coursing its about pace up and scoring points for turning the hare - courses only last roughly a minute - with lurchers its about killing the hare so both pace and stamina are needed as courses can be 3-6 minutes long

    i think its a combination of bad owners and too many litters of average dogs bred and also the obsession of breeding show types ! a young lad - with his first lurcher - a bullx - of course - was telling me he had slipped the pup - at 9mths - on a fox - even a bullx at that age doesnt want a good battle on his hands that will put him off it forever ! At a hunt show recently i heard two rossette winners arrangeing a mating with their dogs - and i know neithor of these dogs get much graft - so heres another litter of crap on the market - ive been saying for years that showing lurchers will do the

    one night i was walking out of a field back to the van when my lurcher - 11mth old -slipped his lead and was running up the A5 which is very busy at night taking lorries up to Holyhead - both ways i could see lorries coming - i panicked - the dog was running everywhere and i was just waiting for the inevatable - i flashed the lamp furiously along the road and on the dog and luckily both lorries screached to a halt - dont know who was the most scared - me the dog or the drivers who must have been wondering what a bloke was doing in a muddy field in the early hours !

    If the posts are of some use then I see no problem, this thread has been pure bitching. will the mods be removing any of the anti bullx posts that regulary appear when someone dares to praise up that breed ?? - as for these pups if they are going to be that good they wouldnt need to be advertised on here - plus as they are not a proven cross why not sell them for alot less and track how they turn out ? - makes some of these black terriers and bullxs which you can pick up for less than £200 and give 100% for you bloody good value !

    im not in the lamping comp so he should get the dogs fit and i will give his mrs a good sorting ! remember the fanny is a powerfull thing - its brought kings off thrones ! - plus - a standing pricks got no conscience !
