    at least they health test. thee are plenty of breders who dont. if they were puppy farmers then they wouldnt bother with L2/GHA & HC I take your point, at least they say they health test, but that is undoubtedly a puppy farming operation, whether intentionally or not. The whole site is about puppies, breeding them and selling them. Have just noticed they charge £250 to use their dog at stud, and the deposit on a pup is £200 ........... but they wanted their collars etc off me cheap, am glad I said no thanks.     Hi Tom ignore them mate. A man of your standing dosent have to defend himself againest thease kind of fools.atb.catcher that site is a joke - i just added a comment using the words - blair - muslim - classwar- anti - labour but no swearing and it banned it - so i put a post on slagging of antis and they put it up - looks to me like these people are clutching at straws nowadays !

    If these weren't bull crosses, what were they doing in the Bull cross class then? It's a sticky wicket this one, a bull cross that is quite obviously a bull cross, might not be allowed into say a smooth dog over 23 inches, but a smooth dog over 23 inches may be allowed into the bull cross class because two generations ago it was out of a bull cross. Theres so many bull crosses out there these days of various fractions, first cross, 5/8 3/8, 3/4 1/4, that some might not look like your archetypal head of a bull and body of a greyhound thats been on steroids, but are nevertheless a bull cross.     you weren't at caerphilly show were you by any chance? yes i was- and yes the bull i have is a strong type but i myself even won ragley hall once with a bullx that was more like a collie x whipp/ grey - but i could see what the judge wanted and it paid off !

    over the past few years and at the shows i visited this weekend its obvious that anything resembling a bull terrier never gets looked at in the bullx classes ! when judging the rabbitting class surely you look for a dog capable of catching rabbitts - as we all know - pre ban - the bullx was used for - lets say - more demanding quarry - therefore shouldnt we look for a dog with immense jaw power and body strength as well as being agile - most judges seem to put up the dog which least looks bully - bullxs dont stand well in the ring or walk well - most eithor pull the owner round the ring or sl

    im gaining nothing by commenting on this litter but joey smith is one of the most respected dog men in not just the uk but he has judged russells worldwide - his dogs are tested to the max - some of the best bull x lines can be traced back to joes yard - including powells arthur and grace - no there is no gaurantees but these lines are tried and tested by some of britains best lurchermen what bull crosses did he have before nugget and jack of note? hes not been breeding bull xs that long if he never bred another litter mate the dogs weve mentioned have contributed enough to other peopl

    this would be the nlrc show yesterday - i do not attend their shows on principle - over the years i won plenty of their shows including ragley hall twice - but since the ban they have sold out bigtime - most of their judges dont work dogs - no bull classes - i even know to a woman who said to the nlrc that my dogs should be thrown out as they were scarred ! nowadays i only attend hunt shows as i would rather give them my money - the best way to hit the nlrc is in the pocket and hopefully they will fold !

    i had a welshhound x bullgrey - dog was awesome - immense jaw power - he smashed all quarry to bits ! he never gave tongue whilst chasing or never hunted up on lamp - but say he ran a hare into a wood he would push it out again - i wish i could get another one like him - more people should use this cross
