  1. Im pretty sure it is legal as long as your pellets land inside of your property. So dont shoot up at anything in trees etc, even if you hit, the pellet is likely to over penetrate and carry on its trajectory.
  2. Hi All, After an involuntary break to air-gunning Im finally back after purhasing a second hand gem!! I used to own a Rapid MK11, JB tuned, but had to sell due to other financial commitments. As I have said I have recently purchased a second hand rifle, a HW95k .177, with a Nikko Stirling Mountmaster sat on top. I am hoping this set up will account for a fair few bunnies before the ferreting season starts. Having said that, I am going to have to spend a lot more time paper punching before I venture out into the field. I had a couple of hours this afternoon and my groupings were atroci
  3. Nice one Stubby. The only reason I posted it on the main forum, was I couldnt see the pinned topic any more, (which I had posted my ad on the day before) Regards, Mikeyblue.
  4. Thought i was being a bit of a mong then!! Yeah shame that its gone. Cant see the reason for removing my post though??
  5. Im not seeing a pinned topic anymore?? And no rules section either?? Very strange....
  6. I put a post on this section yesterday, offering a Jill for free. Slightly confused to why it has been removed. Any ideas lads/ladies?? Mikeyblue.
  7. Cheers Phantom, Thats exactly what im after!! Just the ticket, will get one ordered! Mikeyblue.
  8. Hi All, I am after a budget lamping kit suitable for sub 12ft/lbs hunting. I have heard Tesco did a mag light style torch which people have used to some effect. I was wondering what set ups people use? I would love a Deben Tracer but given the times I cant afford. Any advice on cheap rigs would be great. Kind Regards, Mikeyblue.
  9. I had a Rapid MkII ( JB tuned ), awesome rifle, pellet on pellet at over 30m, light, whisper quiet etc etc. Truly magnificent specimen of an air rifle. Thats why Im gutted I couldnt get on with it! Its just that buddy bottle rifles arent for me. Just goes to show, each to their own. If you can try before you buy would be my advice. Best of luck mate.
  10. Slightly different but I was in a similar position. I have a 2 year old Jill who has been on her own since getting her last winter. She is quite fiery so was worried about putting my new 9 week old jill with her. I neednt of worried as she got on great even mothering her, picking her and putting the new Jill in the nest box!! If anything the new Jill is being the bugger especially at feeding time!!
  11. Nice shooting mate very clinical! Great read!
  12. Nice team, hope they do you proud!
  13. Hi All, Im after a budget springer second hand. It will be used for general pest control bunnies, corvids etc. Was wondering if anyone has used the XL in .177, and what are your opinions. I have heard in .177 it has quite a large kick and can be a bit of a handfull. Was wondering what you lads reckon?? Regards, Mikeyblue.
  14. Wood chippings and shredded newspaper for summer. Old bits of clothing in the nest for winter.
  15. is after a decent knife, PM if you have owt!

  16. To cut the debt two things need to be done, neither of which anyone will like. Taxes up, national spending down. As mentioned benefits are a joke. Single parents allowance should be reduced, if you carnt afford or support kids, dont have them. I dont want to have to pay to bring up some other feckers kid, or feed drug and alchol habbits i can barely afford my own ale money for the weekend!!! We as a nation are a soft touch. The sooner the knobs in parlimant realise its time to get tough and throw Politically Coorect, and human rights out the window the better. Sadly this will not
  17. Hi, I had the same concerns as yourself. I insured with Argos of all people!! It costs me £8 a month for their minimum policy which seems perfectly adequate. When i rang them they told me if the dog isnt vaccinated, they only wont pay out if the problem is related to lack of vaccination. Could be worth a look Hope this helps a little. P.S I havent had to make a claim as yet so cant tell you how good they would be at paying out.
  18. Good luck and enjoy mate, sounds like your well on your way to starting out.
  19. Used to have a doberman as a family pet when I was a lad. Most loyal dog Ive ever seen. As a five year old I used to try the old jump on his back for a ride, he never batted an eye lid, but if someone he didnt know went near my little sistes pram he would let them know they werent going any closer!
  20. Yep best way pal imo, they seem to be getting on anyhows.
  21. Sweet! Let us know how you get on pal. Im toying with the idea of a trip out myself. Just dont want to kill off my sport for the winter.
  22. Id put it in the for sale section pal, asking for offers. You will get the usual jokers wanting it for next to nowt posted, but Im sure you would get some decent offers.
  23. Best of luck, hope all goes well next time.
