  1. Hi Lads, This last week has been one of mixed emotions for me. I had to sell off my trusty TX200HC to fund my Christmas Pressie to myself, a second hand R10 .177 with a NV site, purchased off the for sale section on here. To say Im chuffed is an understatement. One of the finest stocks ive shouldered. Its very pointable and cant wait to test it on some bunnys when this snow fecks off! Having never used NV to hunt, I am looking forward to that to. You seem to get a lot of gun for the money with the R10. Will let you know how i get on in the next couple of weeks,

  4. Hi Scott, Good shooting that buddy! I would stick with the AA Fields, they obviously suit your rifle well! Best to stick with the most accurate pellet for your rifle and the Fields have more than enough power to kill humanely if delivered to the kill zone. Look at it this way mate, if you shoot it through the brain, it will die a humane death. The most accurate pellet gives you the most chance of achieving that. Mikey.

  7. I also use the Acme one (or at least i did before my dog chewed it into bits), I tended to put a crow deek out over a slit open bunny and try and call em in. When a crow starts cawing back, I try and copy its tone length etc. works a treat! They probably think why is that fecker repeating what I say and stood statue still!! Mikey.

  12. Hi All, Up for sale I have my trusty Air Arms TX200HC MkIII in .177. It comes with Nikko Sterling 4-12x50 Mountmaster AO Milldot Ret with Sportsmatch Mounts. Sling fitted. And padded gunslip. Overall good condition with just a minor mark on the stock (being fussy). Great springer shame to have to sell it but needs must! Priced to sell at 250 pounds!!!
  13. Bsa Scorpion, either the single shot or T10, is a very overlooked rifle. Can get them second hand at decent prices. I find them very accurate and for the money excellent. Mikey.
  14. Same here Pianoman, AA 4.51 are the mutts nuts in my TX HC. Tried Superdomes, grouped well enough to 30yds, but couldnt quite match the AA's at 35-45. I find 8.4 grain plenty to humanely dispatch quarry. Mikey

  18. Hi Wurz, At the minute I only shoot a springer. I haven't noticed a change in POI from difference in temperature. I have noticed however a slight change from different firing positions. Eg, when i group kneeling or sitting FT position the pellet strikes slightly higher than prone! regards, Mikey
  19. Hi Davy, I used to have a SP50, my mate had a GAT, we used to argue like cat and dog which was the better, it culminated in a shoot off!!! Pleased to say the SP50 came out on top Probably still knocking about at my mums, will have to try and dig it out. I would love all my childhood airguns back I used to have a [bANNED TEXT] ball with them. A Relum Tornado, brute of a rifle. Daisy 922 pump, deadly accurate and with open sites, accounted for many rabbits. And an old Meteor my dad picked up from a car boot.   21. I have shouldered one at my local club (AT44-10), didnt get chance to take it on the range though. It was nicely weighted and felt like a solid, well put together rifle. A tad heavy as stated, but personally like it that way. Speaking to the owner, he was very impressed with its accuracy. If and when i decide to go down the PCP route it would be one i considered.   23. Nice one Bill, My AA TX HC will be sent to SFS over Christmas/New Year, have already spoke over the phone with Tony, top bloke. Must say very reasonably priced for the work he does! Only downside there is a bit of a waiting list, but then thats to be expected, I would be worried if there wasn't. Kind Regards, Mikey.
