Sound Andy. Read through the rest of the posts even the irritating bitchy ones. FFS. When lads like you are trying a good cross the bitches will be watched like a pervert. All bitches are different. So the time when they are right will be different. I had an old bitch that bled for 20+ days and same bitch was like Mother Earth as she would produce milk when not in pup too. If this bitch is kennelled with other dogs try her with them first as she'll be used to them and more likely to show how ready she is with them before trying an outside dog. Can't argue with that MickC. But anyone misusing this information is in serious trouble. One thing for sure these laws will be getting more and more stringent as time goes by. And as I mentioned in a previous post wouldn't be a fan of licenses. But if it was a choice between nothing and a license it would be a license. It's the same thing with microchiping, tail docking, dog breeding establishments, etc..... all storing your information online. No doubt you have your trusty workers chipped and registered in case they get lost. Name, address, dog breed, DOB, etc, it is the law of the land

Hard to comprehend some of the statements and beliefs of people on here at times? Barrie's response explained quite adequately the huge effort that the NWTF and indeed Barrie and others have put in to keeping "your" pastime legal and that's a fact. Doing nothing and hiding your head in the sand achieves "nothing". The amount of hours and commitment is to be commended, where thanks is rarely given and never sought. As above and once it was firmly stated and agreed no pups would be sold on! If they person can't afford the overheads of rearing a litter people without have to charge others then they shouldn't be breeding in the first place - IMO. Works around here......

It is important not to miss the point. It's not the likes of those men above that are the problem and they are a rarity. It's generally only some with a twisted sense of hunting. But when you sit across the table from them and listen to their openly contradictory ole bluff it's fairly difficult to stomach. But at least their consistent as it's fair to say most foot hunters are thought of in the same way. Fact. It's only "some" of these lads are like ole Julian. Everyone shouldn't be tarred with the same brush. Many are decent enough characters dispite their posh accents and most wouldn't know a dogs head from its arse. But usually the lads that are more vocal are the Julian "type". If the Julian types played fair and were honest with themselves they might realise with utter clowns there really are and the damage they "try" to do to us all. I'm not sure who is worse? The Julian's, Facebook heroes or Antis?

Typical stinking attitude of "some" hunt supporters. Seen and heard it all. The foxes are all belong to them.... their quarry. Strangely enough the farmers who's land they ride over think otherwise when having to deal with these pests. Blame everyone else and happily chuck them under the bus.
