    Didn't watership down used to belong to Andrew Lloyd Webber?? A mate of mine used to deliver pheasants there going back a few years ago now and a gamekeeper told him that idiots with binoculars go up there looking for big wig and hazel etc!! ABSOLUTELY TRUE the sad acts

    Hi for sale is 30 x 4ft 10z yellow nylon purse nets A friend of mine bought these new and never used them so they ended up in my ferreting cupboard. And I've got to have a clear out got to much gear. Anybody that knows about 10z nylon knows it's very strong and will last a lifetimes ferreting. The 30 nets are a job lot and I'm not splitting them up also they are not open to offer as they are already priced at a bargain price THE PRICE IS £36 delivered or you can collect in person for £32 Payment by PayPal cash or cleared cheque Grab a bargain and happy hunting

    As said mate try putting them together after checking the adult if a hob isn't still in season as this warm weather can hold em in season a bit longer than usual and he will try and shag the kitt. Then watch em for a bit. They should be fine. 99% are you do get the odd one that is unsociable. But the chances are You will probably find em cuddled up to each other asleep in the cage after an hour or so. We keep a minimum of 10 up to about 15 at one time and very very rarely get any problems in the autumn/winter GOOD LUCK with em mate

    Glad it's not just me then Terryd That's where the frosty mornings scenario comes from I think when the ground Is frozen hard the bolting seems to sound louder!!! Also sounds good in woodland for some reason as well?? The bolting and the whoosh of the rabbit leaving the hole makes it all worth while. Know what my kids would say, YOU ARE GETTING SO SAD DAD. Haha who cares what they think they don't get it

    Great pics hope to get out and do a bit more this season. We lamped hundreds through the summer but one ferreted rabbit is more enjoyable then ten lamped ones. Love the bolting as much today as I did the 1st time I went 35yrs ago now. Bloody hell im showing my age now

    Hi mate We work mainly Jill's but have got a couple of castrated hobs and a vasectomised hob We use the hobs on the big deep chalk warrens on the South Downs and trust me when I say having hobs castrated or vasectomised makes no difference to there working ability Good luck and happy hunting

    I am advertising this for my nephew Airarms S200 177 pcp single shot Comes with BSA contender 6x24x60 scope Also fitted with a silencer The rifle is in good condition and has accounted for loads of pests My nephew also used it as a club and competition rifle with great results. The reason for sale is he has upgraded £350 ovno.

    Hi mate sawdust is a no no with ferrets it will make them cough change to good quality wood shavings if this doesn't stop it have a look at the back of its throat by picking it up with your thumb and index finger on the scruff of its neck much like you pick a terrier up this doesn't hurt them at all it makes them relax like there mother used to carry them this will make them open there mouth like they are yawning. Have a look at the back of its throat I have had ferrets with a small feather stuck on the roof of ther mouth hence making it cough my niece gets them out I'm not that brave LOL I wo

    We raced pigeons for a few years and gave our ferrets any birds that didn't make the grade Had no problems at all but we have never fed ours feral pigeons
