    As said mate rabbits see in black and white so the brighter the better rabbits quite often get back netted in these bright coloured nets so if they were scared of them they would run away from them get yourself a few bright coloured spun poly nets mate you wont regret it

    Hedges not everyones's favourite type of ferreting but we all have em on our permissions and they have to be done to control the bunnies looks like you done a good job on that hedge well done mate

    we did about 5 smallish burys so each fert gets a bit of a run the jack russell (ted) is coming on great he is nearly 2 and started to mark the holes iv got high hopes for him and the good thing is when he gets to a rabbit in the net he just puts his foot on it and is more intrested in sniffing it's ar*e then biting it not like my old jack who is dead now he was a nightmare if he got to it before you you were lucky if you got the skin out the net let alone the rabbit but i do miss the little sod REST IN PEACE GEORGE did your dog kill the rabbits whilst in the net then retrieve them to yo

    There should be everything you need to start net making in agouti's kit you will make a few fu*k ups to start with but keep at it and it all clicks into place you get a great self satisfaction when you catch rabbits in purse/long nets you made yourself I make all our nets 18 meshes wide by 4ft long a lot of net makers use 3ft 6inch it's personal prefrence GOOD LUCK with it mate

    As said netrigger and i do belive The one sells 4ft poly nets as well although i dont buy nets cos i make my own i have heard that both these members make a good net at a good price so good luck mate

    Our ferret court has a shed each end of a double tier aviery the aviary has wire on the roof so when it rains it comes into the aviary but the ferrrets love it when it rains or snows there out there bouncing around like looneys but they have also got plenty of shade and warmth in the sheds when they want it

    If it's fur or feather mate just put it in the rest comes natural we rescued a jill a couple of years ago it had never seen raw meat only ever fed on dry gave it a woodie and it devoured it in no time and the good thing is she turned out to be a good steady little worker in the end

    We are from sussex and would like to have been able to help you but we are snowed under with rabbiting at the moment and would not have been able to give you our full support hope it all goes well for you and you clear them up

    The biggest buzz to me is when a rabbit hits a well placed purse net although we catch loads in the long nets lamp hundreds and watch dogs mark and catch it takes me back to when i started 30 odd yrs ago when purse nets was all we had as kids loved it then still love it now

    Have done ferreting and shooting many times before but only with people i 100% trust as already said it can be lethal to yourself and ferrets if the guns are excitable

    Whatever his reason you can be sure of ONE thing its the poor bloody ferrets that will end up suffering they end up in the hands of people that dont or cant look after them properly to this bloke they are just money if people only bred what they needed or had good homes for these sort of blokes would't be able to do this

    As already said mate its the heat thats a killer to ferrets not the cold with there winter coats a dry court/hutch and plenty of warm bedding and they will be fine

    Have used them before but now only use agouti quite a bit cheaper and equaly as good a service also nigel is a good bloke to deal with Thats not knocking bridport nets cos they are not bad either just dearer

    As said proberbly a rabbit mate i picked up a lamped rabbit the other night that wasn't quite dead and the bast**d kicked me and left 2 very deep scratches from one end of my hand to the other had a job to stop them bleeding imagine what a kick like that must feel like to a ferret must be like a human getting a boot in the head from a horse they are hard little sods our ferrets
