    I agree its like a pale imitation Shooting times now they seemed to want to go "up market "for some reason. I like Penny Taylor's stuff on health and dog care ,sensible stuff,but a lot of the other pages are just ads.£2 is too much for a mag which is half adverts.

    No pick as I havent seen either run ,but good luck to both guys and dogs .A special hats off to those who made this happen despite a lot of sniping and back biting I think they deserve a round of applause ,and I dont know them , so I have no agenda, I voted for Tommo as I have been out with him and he is a real genuine guy, but the other competitors are strangers to me. HATS OFF to the way they have conducted themselves ,hopefully this competition will continue next year.

    You can buy stopper protectors in leather or waxed,they fasten with velcro ,alternatively vet wrap, a friend of mine uses this all the time.I once had a dogs stopper taken off ,it gave no trouble after that ,surgical spirit will help harden the skin up.ATB.

    It' s two years ago ,Barrera has been fighting professionally for twenty years and is in decline.He will be coming up to his sixth weight division ,from his original Flyweight debut.Barrera fought Morales five years ago ,and won a debatable decision.Barrera was clearly beaten by Pac man.I would love to see him beat the, over hyped ,chinny Khan ,,I won £50 when he schooled that arrogant little shit Hamed,but we are asking a lot,fingers crossed!

    I think this is sensible . I would like to congratulate all concerned with the running of the competition,it has been a success so far ,and run in good sportsmanship.The only flies in the ointment have been the fulltime shit stirrers and whingers ,who havent even been in the competition ,we all know who they are and should treat them accordingly.All the best to those left in .

    I am sure many purebred whippets will do the job ,but my own preference ,purely for bunnies would be a 3/4 bred whippet x a good beddie line like Gutchcommon.My ferreting partner Magwitch has one of these ,Ted he nails bunnies for fun has a great nose for marking and Saturday dug about 3 out ,he draws rabbits and is hard as nails coming off knocks that would put a big dog out of the game.Pics of him can be seen in the ferreting section ,Ted and Rainers day out.Ted is a Mick B/rown Whippet to a whippet Beddie,Gutchcommon lines.

    I live in Kent ,I went to Howletts about 20years ago ,Aspinall had a pack of African Hunting dogs there ,about 35 of them.If they got out there would be some serious damage done!Wouldn't want to lamp one of those boys! tey are still there!! bet they have been checking the fences all day! scotty You can bet your life on that!

    As the season is nearly over ,I would go for a pup ,maybe a youngster about 3-6 months old ,put the work into it, getting it carrying and coming straight back . Start lightly running it around Sept, Oct.Most bought in adult dogs have a "fly in the ointment"
