    Kent's a good place to get lifted if you are lamping without permission. I was stopped 4 times last year going back to my car ,and that is lamping on permission.

    My rabbiting partner, Magwitch has a 3/4 whippet x1/4 beddie, from Sooty Sam lines, he has terrific prey drive, and a great nose he also has the added advantage of being able to catch what he flushes.There are some pics of him on here, running with my dogs.

    Not knocking Turk ,she was a fine animal , but those hares were caught early in the year as he says on the film.The silage had just been cut and rolled ,hares can get disorientated in the time just after harvest. As I said not knocking the bitch in any way. she was a good un.

    That's true but it does make for a lot of fall outs, mud slinging, dummies thrown and feet stamping. I wonder if the same would have happened if it lost I don't think we would have heard about it from you .Either way , you sure have gotten a lot of mileage out of it . On Fen whippets, how to they differ from ordinary whippets? Is there some physical characteristic I should be looking for to identify one? It seems strange none of them ever won a Forley Cup .

    No need to go to a reservoir round here at the moment, the fields are flooded. The distance for biking is best gradually increased, and the time taken to do it conversely decreased .On hard surfaces too much, too soon , wears down the pads, surgical spirit will harden them off.. This time of year biking can give a dog a quick workout if time is limited , but isnt really necessary. I'm just doing an hours bushing a day, I won't do anything more intensive until August , and then it will be early morning, or at dusk when its cooler.

    We had 31 in a couple of hours , feeds the animals ,and keeps the landowner happy. I made a pudding for the dogs out of some of the giblets,mixed with porridge ,rice, eggs, and veg, and put 6 of the bunnies straight into the slow cooker . Feeds my 4 dogs for a few days. Pat has ferrets with kits to feed, so nothing goes to waste .The young bunnies are quickly demolished by the ferts before the flies can zero in on them. As the land hosts a pheasant/partridge shoot , we also get brownie points for the fox Pat bowled over with a brain shot.
